Are you a senior software engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, driving technical initiatives, and mentoring others - and are you ready to take your career to the next level?

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will start by contributing deeply to our core pricing platform, owning end-to-end initiatives across web and mobile platforms, and progressively grow into an Engineering Manager role within the next 9–12 months.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coding and design architecture, but also has a desire to influence and lead a team - both technically and eventually as a people leader.

What You'll Do (Senior Engineer Phase)
  • Drive technical excellence across a modern tech stack (Ruby, Go, TypeScript) and actively contribute to codebases, reviews, and architectural discussions.
  • Lead initiatives end-to-end, from discovery to delivery, on our mission-critical Pricing platform that spans web and iOS applications.
  • Challenge the status quo - bring a big-picture mindset to help steer team decisions in alignment with the broader tech strategy.
  • Unblock and empower your teammates: Investigate deep technical issues and champion pragmatic solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, and other engineering teams to ensure delivery of cohesive, scalable services.
  • Play a key role in our monolith-to-service migration, showing initiative and curiosity in diving into legacy systems and building new capabilities.
Your Path to Engineering Manager

After establishing yourself as a senior technical contributor, you'll be coached and supported to grow into a people leadership role, including:

  • Taking on ownership of team delivery and morale, balancing execution with sustainable pace.
  • Participating in hiring, mentoring, and performance development of engineers.
  • Collaborating with other Engineering Managers and stakeholders to align roadmaps and shape technical strategy for pricing systems.
  • Acting as a bridge between teams, advocating for your team’s needs while supporting broader organizational goals.
What We're Looking For
  • Strong engineering background, ideally with experience in backend heavy systems and modern service architectures.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring other engineers.
  • Comfortable working in Ruby, Go, or TypeScript - or eager to pick them up quickly.
  • Ability to zoom out and understand strategic goals, while remaining hands-on and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work across teams and disciplines.
  • A passion for growth and leadership, with an interest in developing people and driving delivery without burning out the team.
  • Curiosity, autonomy, and drive to navigate and improve both legacy and greenfield systems.
