The Senior Security Analyst will work collaboratively as a key member of the global security operations team.  The analyst will operate and tune security technologies to detect and respond to security incidents, maintain, and follow procedures for security event response, and participate in security investigations. The senior analyst will partner with key stakeholders across IT to improve the overall global security posture and contribute innovative ideas to scale and improve the security operations program.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: University Degree, Technical Degree, or relevant work experience
  • Experience: Prior experience in defense in depth analysis; incident response & handling, configuring and managing security devices, troubleshooting security related issues
  • Job Skills: Proactive, analytical, resourceful, detail oriented, result driven
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of SIEM, EDR, Web Gateway, Email Gateway, Cloud Security, Operating Systems, network protocols and packet analysis tools, firewall and intrusion detection/prevention protocols, TCP/IP, computer networking, routing, and switching, penetration and vulnerability testing, scripting such as Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • Certifications (achieved or working towards): Security +, GSEC, GCIH, GCED, GMON or other technical certifications


GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • SECURITY INCIDENT MANAGEMENT: investigate, analyze, coordinate, and report on all security events, incidents and intrusions; track incidents through analysis, diagnosis, correction and resolution
  • SECURITY ASSESSMENTS: Perform periodic network security assessments and review for evidence of vulnerability or compromise, and assist or coordinate mitigation and remediation
  • RESEARCH: Assist in the study of vendors and products for network and desktop security to determine those which best meet the needs of SharkNinja
  • SME: Serve as an expert technical resource, to advise and assist in security issues, both proactively and reactively. Also assist to create, evaluate and implement policy, process and procedures
  • Ensure the integrity of SharkNinja data and systems, security of confidential information, and protection of physical property
  • Must be able to work and collaborate with multiple cross-functional IT teams as well as non-IT business units as required
  • Participate in security tool validation program
