JOB SUMMARY:

Collaborates with Salesforce Product/Platform Owner, Business Partners and Product Team and Cross Functional Teams to deliver timely and with quality as per the specific need of stories. Supports user stories focused on configuring package software or performing other highly technical tasks for the agile team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for collaborating with the Salesforce team and it's business stakeholders to understand and propose solutions to configure package software or custom software development

  • Provides highly specialized technical skills to according to the specific needs of stories during each iteration

  • Ensures design and development standards are being followed to minimize rework; promotes only quality-tested code and does it on a frequent basis

  • Acts as a key stakeholder or backup for Product Owner in the daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives to update progress, highlight and resolve impediments

  • Reviews required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, service and business teams

  • Actively suggests solutions to drive down technical debt

  • Provides mentorship to junior FAs and BAs through Community of Practice and other informal forums and may supervise FAs in a team that does not have senior developers or a tech lead

  • Lead functional analysis for the domain/software related to Mergers & Acquisitions & Foldouts

  • Lead functional analysis for domain/software RFP process

  • Lead SME around product(s) function and works with Product Owner and Business Partners to refine requirements/functionality

  • Lead training of software package to key stakeholders as required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent for the specific roles responsibilities

Mandatory Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in configuration of software packages or   and application development is a nice to have, not required for a Sr Functional Analyst

  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban & other agile frameworks

  • This does not need to be a requirement for a Sr Functional Analyst

  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration / continuous delivery practices

  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Demonstrated “agile-development” mindset with strong customer-focus & results-orientation

  • Ability to excel in a fast paced agile environment, adapt to shifting urgencies, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively manage key business stakeholder relationships, and where required – customer and supplier partnerships/relationships

  • Highly proficient in teamwork and collaboration skills

Preferred Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Salesforce CRM experience with knowledge of Sales Cloud & Service Cloud
  • Demonstrates Senior Solutions Platform mindset with using Salesforce
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations, standard connectors, and custom middleware
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce configurations (user set up, role set up, hierarchies, profile set up, sharing rules, etc.)
  • Salesforce Enterprise Territory Management (ETM) highly preferred
  • Salesforce Certified Admin, Consultant Sales or Service preferred
