Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Analyst

If you have a successful track record in sales operations, working with a team of highly technical sales individuals to consumer web, mobile, media and enterprise companies we wish to hear from you. In this role you will be a meaningful part of our growth responsible for providing first class operational management to our Sales organisation. You will help drive business plans, define sales processes, analyse revenue trends & critical metrics among other special projects to enhance productivity. In addition, you will drive operational improvements in the areas of reporting, process, workflow, communication, and strategy.

What You'll Do
  • Proactively recognise business needs, and provide core business support functions to ensure the successful running and maintenance of the sales business

  • Project manage the Sales and operations strategy, understand priorities and execute operational plans

  • Ability to understand, create, and deliver top-quality, audience-appropriate communication

  • Optimise Sales operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement and system enhancements and best practice sharing

  • Work closely with other team members and the business to track metrics, KPIs, analytics and dashboards to provide performance measurement and drive business performance

  • Provide core business support functions to ensure the successful running and maintenance of the CS/Sales business

  • Provide front line support for other operational functions such as deal desk, contracts & finance to provide Sales support for common business situations


What We're Looking For: 
  • Ideally, 5+ years of strong analytical and problem solving experience in a sales operations role

  • To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a thorough understanding of sales ops best practices and policies and be able to implement those best practices across revenue teams. 

  • They must have experience working with cross functional teams in order to drive operational plans for the region

  • Interpersonal skills across a multi-level organisation - with a proven focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable business insight

  • Proven communication skills at all levels of an organisation - with a demonstrated focus on being able to translate data and metrics into predictable business insight

  • Ability to interpret complex business documents/reports, create and present process documentation and training

  • Detail oriented; and must be highly organised with the ability to manage towards multiple deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills


We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these 
  • Experience in the B2B sector working for a SAAS/Software or technology company
  • Experience working in a high growth organisation

Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours (9am - 6pm)

Salary: 

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role is eligible to participate in Fastly’s global sales compensation plan and may participate in Fastly’s equity program.
