About the team

This is an exciting role for an energetic candidate wanting to break the shackles of their desk job. The role involves being at the leading edge of our business, facing clients and prospects, and forming solutions in the pursuit of selling FIS Insurance Risk solutions.  FIS have a very established actuarial modelling solution and client base, plus we continue to grow.  We also have growing managed solutions and data management businesses around our core modelling systems including providing cloud-based solutions to our customers. 

What you will be doing

  • You will engage in sales endeavours to help the European sales team
  • You will work to find solutions for customers, answer questions, create solution proposals to present to customers.   A big part of the role is presenting compelling solutions to a range of stakeholders from technical users to C-level decision makers.
  • You will form positive and professional relationships with customers in pursuit of ongoing client management and sales. 
  • You will assist with feeding back market information to product management, development and services teams to keep improving the Insurance solutions.
  • You will need to travel within Europe to customers

What you bring:

  • Typically degree qualified with a solid understanding of Prophet or a similar actuarial modelling system.
  • Good knowledge of system architectures (including cloud), database and workflow technology.
  • Ability to think on your feet and communicate complex concepts effectively to customers
  • Comfort handling multiple small projects at once and working to deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personality types and backgrounds, both internally and with clients
  • Good English proficiency to communicate verbally and in writing

Added bonus if you have:

  • Consulting or selling experience
  • Proficiency in other European languages
