About the Role: Senior Sales Manager – UK (C&I BESS & EV Charging Infrastructure)
EP Pixii is seeking a commercially driven Senior Sales Manager to build and scale our UK presence across both the commercial & industrial (C&I) and EV charging infrastructure markets. You will drive new business, manage key accounts, and develop integrated solutions combining BESS with a variety of C&I and EV charging use cases.
This position is ideal for a senior “hunter–farmer” who thrives in opening new markets, shaping customer strategy, and converting complex technical solutions into long‑term commercial success. You will operate with high autonomy and full ownership of the UK sales function.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop and grow the UK market for modular BESS across commercial & industrial applications (e.g., peak shaving, load management, energy cost optimization, backup power).
- Identify and convert opportunities within EV charging infrastructure – including depot charging, fleet electrification, public charging networks, and behind-the-meter charging solutions.
- Build a strong sales pipeline spanning C&I customers, charge point operators (CPOs), fleet operators, integrators, EPCs, and developers.
- Leverage an existing network to accelerate deal flow and shorten sales cycles across both C&I and EV markets.
Key Account Management
- Develop and manage strategic accounts across both C&I energy users and EV charging ecosystem players.
- Act as the primary commercial interface for key accounts, coordinating closely with technical and project delivery teams.
- Promote cross‑selling opportunities by positioning Pixii’s modular BESS platform across multiple sites, applications, and customer segments.
Sales Execution
- Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation, solution scoping, and technical positioning to commercial negotiation and contract completion.
- Translate customer requirements into robust, technically and commercially optimized solutions in collaboration with EP Pixii’s engineering teams.
- Structure and negotiate complex contracts with a focus on long‑term value creation and healthy commercial margins.
Market Intelligence & Representation
- Monitor and communicate market trends across both C&I energy management and EV charging infrastructure, including pricing, competitors, regulation, and policy.
- Represent EP Pixii at industry events, customer meetings, and partner forums spanning the UK energy and EV ecosystem.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in BESS, EV charging infrastructure, power electronics, or related energy technologies.
- Track record in business development and closing high‑value B2B deals within commercial & industrial energy users and/or EV charging operators.
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of BESS solutions, C&I applications, and EV charging requirements.
- Established network within the UK energy and EV infrastructure market (e.g., CPOs, fleet operators, developers, EPCs, integrators, utilities).
- Ability to work independently and entrepreneurially, with ownership of targets, pipeline, and customer outcomes.
- Experience managing long sales cycles in complex, solution-based environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English, written and oral.
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling combined BESS + EV charging solutions or C&I behind‑the‑meter energy systems.
- Understanding of UK grid constraints, DNO requirements, grid connections, and flexibility markets.
- Background in fast‑growing, technology‑focused, or international energy companies.
