This position is a mixture of home-based and hub presence (London/Canary Wharf).

Job Description

As a Senior Sales Manager you will play a key role in our small team within a start-up environment. You’ll influence the direction of Mantis products, using your contacts with agency programmatic buyers and your experience selling to them. You will be responsible for a revenue number, selling contextual packages containing Reach inventory and other premium publisher inventory. Other responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for selling the Mantis Data product

  • Focussed on brand and agency relationships, negotiate and close deals focused on selling contextual packages containing Reach inventory as well as other premium publisher inventory.

  • Work with the sales director to define the growth strategy for your portfolio with clear guidance on key client and agency stakeholders, client/opportunity prioritisation

  • Achieve personal quarterly/annual revenue and new business targets, as agreed with the Sales Director

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting insight and weekly updates to the sales director

Qualifications

  • Significant Ad Tech experience in a client-facing, new business sales role
  • You are consistently one of the top sellers in your sales organisation, and have a stellar reputation and proven track record as being one of the industry’s best

  • You are highly curious and intelligent, constantly enhancing your industry knowledge and competitive insight to help you close business and generate significant revenue

  • You are the ultimate team player and have proven experience working cross functionally and collaboratively across internal teams to build business and sales activity

  • You are an exceptional communicator and confident presenter across all real and virtual formats 

  • Strategically minded with a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and passion for the latest emerging technologies.

  • You are deeply networked and have extensive contacts and relationships at top brands, media agencies and trading desks

  • You have demonstrated the ability to think strategically to identify a brand’s key business objectives and challenges, translating and building into compelling value propositions
