About the role
As a Senior Sales Executive , you’ll be part of a mature goal driven team of self-motivated, over achieving sales professionals focused on Tier 1 Investment Banks and Institutions within the Capital Markets space.  Many of these banks have FIS Fintech solutions in place, your role will be to expand these relationships further, working hand in glove with the Enterprise Account Management team and Tier 1 sellers in other regions to identify the whitespace for upsell and cross sell opportunities forexisting  solutions and brand-new cutting-edge technologies.

Are you a driven over achiever, knowledgeable in both buy and sell side functions in the Capital Markets space with a great list of Snr level contacts?  At FIS you’ll have the opportunity to work on some of the most challenging and relevant issues in financial services and technology.  We’re looking for accomplished Salespeople with a track record of originating and closing Enterprise level deals across EMEA.  We believe in being part of a team that is open, collaborative, entrepreneurial, passionate, and above all impactful.

What you will be doing

The role will cover the full sales cycle including but not limited to: opportunity generation, face to face meetings, structuring proposals, workshops, through to closing and legal/procurement negotiations.  Sales is also expected to be directly contributing to sales strategy at an Account level and constantly expanding contacts within existing Tier 1 account divisions across Sales and Trading, Securities Services, Investment Banking, Asset Management and Custody.

  • Developing new opportunities through prospecting, networking, and collaboration to ensure qtrly sales quotas are achieved.
  • Maintaining a qualified pipeline of X2.5 Quota.
  • Developing and executing Key Account Plans (KAP’s) for each Account
  • Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal.
  • Building and developing Client relationships across Front Middle and Back Office. Equally across Clients Snr Business, IT, Operations, and Finance departments.
  • Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate forecast and comprehensive database (Dynamics)
  • Maintaining awareness of relevant Capital Market focused issues and industry trends
  • Developing the ability to sell across the Front, Middle and Back-Office, often working with a number of solutions and associated delivery models (ASP/IMS/On-Premise, BPaaS).

What you bring

  • Prior experience in Fintech across the Tier1 Capital Markets space
  • Industry knowledge of how Banks and Instititutions operate in the Capital Markets industry including key issues and experience addressing these either in your current or recent roles.
  • Direct banking or consultative experience in the Capital Markets space a strength.
  • Equally a Consultative Sales background highly desirable.
  • Self-starter, collaborative and success-oriented mindset and track record.
