About Perform

Perform by Marcus Evans is our performance-improvement consultancy. We don’t sell off-the-shelf training. We start with a diagnosis of what is actually holding a team or an organisation back, prescribe the programme that fixes it, deliver bespoke learning pathways facilitated by vetted trainers/coaches, and then assess what changed. Clients get a written view of the gaps, the fix and the result.

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Sales Executives to sell Perform to senior leaders at large organisations: Heads of HR, L&D, Talent and Transformation, and the business executives who sponsor their programmes. You will own the sale from first conversation to signed contract, working with our Programme Scientist, who builds the diagnosis and prescription behind every proposal. This is a consultative sale with long cycles, several stakeholders and meaningful deal values. We are looking for someone who has done it before and wants to build a book of business from the start.

This is an onsite role based in our London office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify your own pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, referrals and social selling to senior HR, L&D and business leaders

  • Run structured discovery calls using our Initial Discovery Template, so the client’s real performance problem is clear before any proposal is written

  • Work with the Programme Scientist to turn discovery into a bespoke diagnosis, prescription and quote, and present it to the client sponsor

  • Position Perform as an expert advisor, qualify prospects rigorously, and manage intake so each quarter’s cohorts are full and the programme stays selective

  • Negotiate pricing and terms within our pricing framework, and take contracts through to signature

  • Keep every opportunity current in HubSpot CRM, from contact to lead to deal, so forecasting and reporting are accurate

  • Stay with the client after signature through delivery and assessment, and use the findings to open expansion and renewal conversations

  • Share what you learn from the market (objections, competitors, pricing pressure) with the leadership team so the offer keeps improving

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Behavioural Science or related fields.

  • At least five years of B2B sales experience, including closing complex, high-value deals with multiple stakeholders

  • Proven experience selling leadership development, learning and development, coaching, talent, HR consulting or other professional services to senior buyers

  • A record of meeting or exceeding targets, with examples you can discuss

  • Excellent written and spoken English, and the credibility to hold a conversation with a C-suite executive

  • Comfort with discovery-led, consultative selling rather than product pitching

  • Right to work in the UK

Preferred:

  • Experience selling to financial services, banking, technology or other regulated, multinational clients

  • An existing network among HR and L&D decision-makers

  • Experience working alongside subject-matter experts or consultants to build proposals

  • HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or comparable CRM and prospecting tools

  • Additional languages
