Job Description
As a Senior Sales Executive, Discreet Transportation and Emerging Industry, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with executive and C-suite clients to improve their results through digital transformation, consulting and managed services. This includes internal professional services and related hardware and software products. You will consult on goals related to innovation, strategy, product development, digital transformation, data science, and manufacturing. You will collaborate with leaders and sales/delivery teams to understand clients, industries, competitive landscape, and how to win. You will also drive growth for the digital business with focus on the discreet transportation and data center sector.
You will report to the Regional VP, Secure Digital Operations - EMEA and have a hybrid schedule working at any of our offices in Italy, UK or Germany.
Your Responsibilities:- Create and lead a Global Sales Business Development Engine which ensures reliable, steady sources of demand.
- Establish Relationships within GSM organization at the account level.
- Develop relationships with Cybersecurity, MES, MoM and Software teams to align and lead campaigns with Sales to present and integrated Rockwell Secure Digital Operations selling approach.
- Build Individual Commercial Business Development metrics.
- Govern and support coordination of delivery of client projects proposed and sold.
- Attract talent and future leaders for the relevant Industry Practices and the broader Digital Services teams.
- Develop a wide pool of Staff Members that can work on sold Projects by staffing people from across the Digital Services delivery team.
- Work across Lifecyle Services, Software & Control, and Intelligent Devices, to share insights that are used to make better Rockwell products and services.
- 5+ years as a Partner or equivalent in a well-regarded Management Consulting or Professional Services Firm.
- Track record of consistent and progressive long-term Commercial Business Development success.
- Network of relationships with Senior Client Executives from the following functions: Strategy, Innovation, R&D, Product Engineering, Digital Transformation, Manufacturing Operations.
- Network of relationships with Senior Client Executives from relevant industries
- 5+ years developing business & serving clients multi-nationally.
- Domain Expertise in 2 or more of the following Technologies: Digital Twin/Digital ID/Modeling & Simulation/Digital Product Creation; Advanced Analytics/AI/Machine Learning; Internet of Things (IoT) – Smart Connected Operations & Smart Connected Products; A/R, V/R, X/R; Product Lifecycle Management; Service Lifecycle Management; Enterprise Information Management.
- This position may require you to travel up 50%.
- 2-5 years of Practice Leadership experience.
- Any additional languages are an advantage.
