JOB DESCRIPTION
Did you know that Built Environment (BE) is one of UL's first business units created over a 100 years ago? For the last 100+ years our BE teams have been supporting our customers in 4 main areas: Fire Safety & Security, Personal Protective Equipment, Building Quality & Compliance and Building & Construction.
Reporting to the EU Sales Manager, our Senior Sales Executive will autonomously lead sales activities in the dedicated region to grow our business within Built Environment.
This is position ideal for someone who is passionate about sales, likes to work 100% remotely and get the chance to travel to different ULS locations in Europe!
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for sales strategy and maintaining relationships with UL's accounts in dedicated region.
  • Connects with customers Face-to-Face and remotely (video, phone, email) to discuss customers' needs, provide best solutions and sell UL's TIC services.
  • Drives sales process from beginning to end, leveraging support from Sales Support Specialists and Inside Sales Executives when/if necessary.
  • Follows up with customers to ensure renewal of services where applicable and spots opportunities to sell specialty product / services.
  • Meets with new logo prospects from inbound and outbound channels to qualify their needs, understand decision makers, and land new customers.
  • Supports discovery, opportunity identification, proposals, and closing for sales of core UL products and services.
  • Leverages technical support (engineers) when customer has a qualified need.
  • Brings in additional resources when advantageous to support sales process, and delegates leadership of the sale to Technical Inside Sales Executives for highly technical or specialized products / services.
  • Transitions implementation to success / fulfillment teams after sales have been closed to ensure seamless service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated working experience in sales (preferably field sales) with a strong account management capability.
  • Proven ability to manage and sell into large, diverse accounts, both individually and with the assistance of supporting personnel.
  • Strong command of English is a must.
  • Experience in selling Testing, Inspection & Certification services would be nice to have.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Build Environment services (fire detection & suppression, building materials, security systems, fire alarm systems, PPE etc.) would be nice to have.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools would be a plus.
  • Open-minded, commercial person who enjoys traveling and is eager to learn.
  • Business acumen, flexibility and ability to bring new ideas and solutions.
  • Available to travel.
