This position reports directly to the Worldwide VP & GM of Veeam Data Cloud M365 and is responsible for driving regional revenue and growth across VB365, Veeam Data Cloud M365, and the service provider ecosystem.

 Key responsibilities include:

  1. Achieving revenue and growth targets across relevant offerings,

  2. Collaborating with EMEA regional account teams to execute New, Expand, and Cross-sell strategies,

  3. Leading a specialist sales team focused on high-value opportunities and supporting smaller engagements, and

  4. Working closely with the Veeam Data Cloud M365 product teams to prioritize the roadmap and deliver customer feedback.

Additionally, this role will play a pivotal part in strategic co-selling with Microsoft. Given the strong partnership between Veeam and Microsoft, this leader will need to develop a deep understanding of the Microsoft EMEA field structure and engage regularly to co-sell into joint accounts.

This role oversees the EMEA specialist sales organization, driving scale through collaboration with Veeam’s regional field sales teams. The specialist group—comprising both sales and technical pre-sales roles (with dotted-line reporting)—will serve as subject matter experts in Veeam Data Cloud M365, supporting the field to increase win rates, grow deal sizes, and shorten sales cycles. This team will lead complex, high-impact deals, demonstrate value, and secure technical wins. Commercial deal ownership will vary based on the scope of the opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sales fundamentals are met across the full business (e.g., pipe coverage, win rates, etc.)
  • Own the co-sell process with Microsoft and hit regional co-sell goals
  • Provide weekly product-specific forecast updates and cross-reference with the EMEA Region
  • Ensure top deals are on-track with the right Field + Specialist pursuit team engaged
  • Engage with strategic deals and customers as executive sponsor for Veeam Data Cloud M365
  • Build a “win formula” that is a repeatable sales approach that generates additive results
  • Champion any key changes needed to meet or exceed growth and share goals
  • Lead quarterly business review prep for the EMEA region
  • Coordinate with Engineering and Product Mgmt on key customer requirements

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated years of experience  in software sales, and proven capability to engage at the customer exec level.
  • Proven capability in Enterprise software sales, and ideally in the data protection, data management or M365
  • Proven capability of working in a Specialist + Field sales model
  • Proven capability of working in a partner-driven GTM
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Field, Renewals, Marketing and Product teams
  • Excellence in sales management, sales coaching and sales fundamentals
  • Strong team player / coach mentality – expect to be personally engaged in opportunities
  • Excellent written and presentation skills for both external and internal audiences
  • Be able to travel up to 50% of time
