Senior Recruitment Advisor - The role:

Are you passionate about recruiting exceptional legal talent? Join our dynamic Lateral Recruitment team at Linklaters in London. We collaborate closely with practice groups and in-house teams to identify and recruit the best legal talent for our firm. This role is integral to our strategic vision for sourcing and engaging top-tier candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Talent Mapping: Utilise online tools and detailed research to identify and persuade potential candidates, including those who are currently inactive in the job market, to join Linklaters.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with candidates, guiding them from initial contact through to hiring.
  • Market Insight: Leverage extensive knowledge of UK and international legal markets to support hiring partners effectively.
  • Agency Collaboration: Build strong partnerships with preferred supplier agencies to enhance market knowledge and strategic recruitment efforts.
  • Transformational Recruitment: Lead initiatives to advance recruitment methodologies, eliminating bias and ensuring diversity-focused hiring practices.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure high-quality candidate experiences, delivering seamless interview and onboarding processes in collaboration with stakeholder partners.
  • Diversity & Compliance: Actively promote Linklaters’ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, and ensure adherence to regulatory and recruitment best practices.

Senior Recruitment Advisor - What we're looking for:

  • Recruitment Expertise: You have a strong background in talent sourcing within the Legal sector, showcasing your ability to attract and select exceptional talent.
  • Effective Communicator: Your communication skills extend from persuasive discussions to empathetic listening, adaptable to diverse working styles and relationships.
  • Organisational Skills: You excel at managing conflicting priorities with a detail-oriented approach, meeting high standards and tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative and Supportive: Working effectively with team members and the wider HR division, you contribute positively to collaborative efforts.
  • Tech-Savvy Approach: You’ll become a superuser of Workday, advocating its use along with AI tools for optimised recruitment practices.
