About HappyRobot

As a Generalist Recruiter, you’ll partner directly with founders and hiring managers to attract and hire top-tier talent across technical and business roles. You’ll play a key role in scaling the team, owning hiring end-to-end and ensuring a fast, high-quality recruiting process.

What you Will do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across a variety of roles — from sourcing to close

  • Build and manage strong pipelines of high-quality candidates across functions (engineering, GTM, operations, etc.)

  • Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role needs, calibrate profiles, and align on scorecards

  • Deliver a great candidate experience — from first touch to offer

  • Move quickly to drive processes forward and unblock hiring

  • Iterate on recruiting strategies, sourcing channels, and outreach approaches

  • Build and improve scalable processes, systems, and reporting

  • Support employer branding across LinkedIn, events, and referrals

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in a high-growth startup

  • Experience hiring across multiple functions (technical + business roles)

  • Strong sourcing skills and creativity in finding top talent

  • Ability to own roles end-to-end with minimal oversight

  • Strong communication, judgment, and candidate closing skills

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

  • Highly organized, with a strong sense of urgency

  • Excited about building teams from the ground up
