Main purpose of the role
We are seeking a Senior Qlik Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team and deliver impactful insights for our high-growth SaaS company. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with the CTO and technical lead to build and maintain modern business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decisions across the organization. Your expertise in Qlik Sense Cloud, APIs, and multi-tenant data environments will be key in driving scalable, high-performance analytics.
Primary responsibilities:
You will be working on developing and maintaining the IsoMetrix Software Solution and its ecosystem.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and data models using Qlik Sense Enterprise and Qlik Cloud.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Automate and optimize reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage end-to-end BI projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decisions.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Immerse yourself within the Engineering COO team to design, develop, and implement business analytics solutions using Qlik Sense Enterprise and Qlik Cloud.
- Design and enhance Qlik Cloud solutions incorporating AI-driven analytics, NLP, and ML-powered insights.
- Build an AI-ready data infrastructure that is scalable, governed, and designed to support advanced analytics.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and effectiveness in all work outputs.
- Support regulatory compliance initiatives by embedding governance and traceability into analytics workflows, aligned with DORA and similar mandates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating complex data needs into scalable and intuitive applications that highlight opportunities and accelerate decisions.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver creative, iterative solutions.
- Maintain documentation including requirements, testing materials, and issue logs.
- Update and improve data models for performance and functionality.
Additional programming languages or methodologies that would be an advantage:
- Experience with Qlik Mashups, AutoML, Insight Advisor, and NLP-driven analytics.
- Background with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or Sisense.
- Web development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python.
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and observability tools.
- Familiarity with AI model monitoring, interpretability, and ethical AI.
- Knowledge of operational resilience and compliance frameworks such as DORA
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Qlik Sense or Qlik Cloud certification is required, along with proven experience in both backend and frontend
- Qlik Sense or Qlik Cloud development.
- Over five years of experience in BI, reporting, or data analytics, with expertise in Power BI, QlikView, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong technical skills in T-SQL, relational databases, DAX, Power Query, and Excel (Python/R is a plus).
- Have a working knowledge of Data Infrastructure (e.g. Warehouse, BI, Analytics, Big-Data).
- Be proficient in developing, architecting, and supporting BI platforms.
- Engage stakeholders to frame business challenges, uncover insights, and deliver data-driven visualizations that influence decision-making and drive outcomes.
- Understand Qlik Cloud's advanced features including Insight Advisor, AutoML, and NLP dashboards.
- Be familiar with operational resilience best practices and data observability.
