WHAT’S THE ROLE?

We’re looking for a Senior QA Tester who will be responsible for testing Frontier’s games throughout all phases of development, from pre-production through post-release content.

In this role, you’ll work on medium-to-high-risk features, designing and executing comprehensive test suites, and conducting both regression testing and playtesting. Leveraging QA experience, you’ll proactively identify and resolve issues, provide guidance to QA team members and recommend and implement improvements.

Depending on project needs, you may also assume Assistant Lead or Team Lead responsibilities for specific phases or entire projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

    • Write, run and maintain medium-to-high risk test specifications and suites for new and existing projects, ensuring efficient time reporting and estimates on given tasks and written suites.

    • Conduct playtesting using a variety of test personas e.g. destructive testing and player-like testing.

    • Envision user stories and gather data with provided instructions.

    • Identify and report issues in a clear and accurate manner.

    • Perform regression testing for both internal and external issues.

    • Act as point of contact for specific features, regularly collaborating with cross-discipline teams to gather and relay relevant information back to QA.

    • Provide guidance and technical mentoring to other testers, including guidance on their documentation and advanced troubleshooting of other testers on the project.

    • Raise potential future hurdles for testing, pre-empt problems, and suggest best fixes and ideas for further testing.

    • Contribute to product information, identification of problem areas and analysis of trends to anticipate and navigate risks.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

    • Significant QA experience in the games industry and a strong understanding of QA tools, procedures, methodologies and workflows.

    • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    • Experience aligning testing with requirements, managing priorities and successfully collaborating across disciplines/teams.

    • Proven leadership or mentoring experience.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE

    • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

    • Proven ability managing people.
