BlackStone eIT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Lead with a CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certification to join our team. As the Senior QA Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all quality assurance activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining and promoting the highest quality standards in software development.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the quality assurance team, including planning and organizing their work, providing guidance and mentorship, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define quality standards and establish best practices for software testing and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Coordinate and execute software testing activities, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify and document software defects, and work with cross-functional teams to drive their resolution.
- Maintain and enhance the test manual & automation framework and infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level) certification is required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with manual testing and test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver or Cypress.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing and working with RESTful APIs.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor a team of QA engineers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
