SS&C GIDS provides information processing and computer software services and products. What You Will Get to Do:
- Quality Assurance of solutions developed in a cross functional team
- Develop, implement and assure automated Quality Assurance using various test automation tools & frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, QTP/UFT and working API framework (restful APIs/SOAP UI/Postman API), TypeScript
- Build automation scripts in HP ALM/JIRA to get them run on automation labs
- Analyze test requirements, design and prepare automated test scenarios and scripts which provide comprehensive coverage of given requirements
- Generate test metrics & ROI to utilize them for process and efficiency improvements
- Build complex SQL queries to build automation scripts for data mining requirements and migration requirements
- Coach and mentor junior developers in the team
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science (mandatory) with 6+ years’ experience in quality assurance of Superannuation Registry-based solutions
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
- Working experience in Automation testing using Playwright, Selenium and similar testing tools like UFT etc. using VBScript, C#, TypeScript, Java, TypeScript Git etc. with a thorough understanding of Object-Oriented and relational database design concepts
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation framework development and enhancement and should have worked on script development. Generally (at least 2 years, preferably 3+ years)
- Proven experience of activities like automated script design, development, execution and maintenance in a Keyword driven framework using the HP UFT or Selenium framework
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation, migration testing, and automation support.
- Experience with JIRA, HP ALM, and test management tools.
- Experience with responsive design principles and accessibility (WCAG)
