PandaDoc is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join one of our R&D teams, which is responsible for customers' experience in the Monetization area.

In this role, you will:- Take end-to-end technical ownership of features and improvements
- Build and maintain application architecture
- Drive domain excellence across the organization & actively collaborate with product managers and fellow engineers
- Microservices
- Python, Django, AsyncIO
- AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- PostgreSQL, Redis
- NATS, Kafka
- At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing application architectures and code that are scalable, available, maintainable, and performant
- Software design patterns expert. You know how to choose and implement any pattern to meet organization expectations about extendability, adjustability and quality.
- Experimental Mindset: You have a strong interest in and experience with designing and running experiments (like A/B tests). You know how to propose alternatives for features, define success metrics, and iterate based on data.
- Care about results and you know what it means to ship high-quality solutions
- Put yourself in the shoes of customers and be a steward of crafting great experiences
- Strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to product managers, designers, customer support, and other engineers is no problem for you
- Passion for continued learning and a track record of picking up new technologies and skills
