Ocado is a technology-led, global software and robotics platform providing a unique end-to-end solution for customers on a global scale. As part of growing the Ocado business, we have recently announced a new mission to sell our unique ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System) product to organisations operating outside of grocery e-commerce across the globe. About the role
As the technical expert, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the wider business to support the sales and implementation of our products for clients worldwide. You will accompany the Sales team on Client site visits to explain our solution and understand, capture and communicate their requirements.
About you
- Solutions Architect experience
- Experience working for technology companies, managing clients needs and requirements
- Demonstrates a good knowledge of operational processes and material flows within Automated Warehouse environments
- Able to explain technical subjects and technologies to operational and other non-technical stakeholders
- Good client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent problem solving and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can work cross-functionally and effectively with both internal and external teams
- Can adapt style and approach to different stakeholders, clients and situations
- Proven ability to deliver results and to manage competing priorities, in a fast paced environment
