Senior Project Manager – Customer Solutions

Reports to: Chief Information Officer

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager ready to lead high-impact technology programmes? We’re looking for a strategic, delivery-focused leader to oversee complex IT initiatives and drive successful outcomes for both customers and the organisation.

About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of multiple projects or programmes, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll play a key role in shaping delivery strategy, establishing governance frameworks, and aligning projects with organisational goals.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, you’ll provide clear direction, manage expectations, and ensure transparency across all stages of delivery. You’ll also lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of complex IT and technology programmes
  • Define scope, governance frameworks, and delivery strategy
  • Oversee resource planning, risk management, and financial performance
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners
  • Provide clear, strategic reporting on progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Ensure alignment between project portfolios and organisational objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in delivery practices
  • Mentor and support project team members to build capability

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects or programmes
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, including C-suite engagement
  • Excellent understanding of project governance, risk, and financial oversight
  • High level of technical literacy with IT systems and infrastructure
  • Expertise in project management tools such as Asana, Halo, or Monday.com
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving priorities

Desirable Qualifications

  • PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
  • ITIL 4 Foundation
  • AgilePM Foundation or CompTIA Project+
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Understanding of public sector procurement, DfE frameworks, and MATs
