Core Banking Platform   

finova’s Core Banking Platform includes the UK market-leading cloud-based originations software and integrated in-life servicing software. The platform supports mortgages, equity release, specialist lending and savings. Over £75 billion has been originated through the system by our customers and over £27 billion of loans and savings are managed through the servicing platform.  

The platform is designed for fast implementation and facilitates day-to-day banking operations. Utilising the latest technology, the API-led platform seamlessly integrates with over 20 third-party applications, enabling financial institutions to self-configure the platform effortlessly and efficiently to meet the rapidly changing demands of the market 

About you

This is a hybrid London based role. You must also be able to travel to client sites (within the UK) and our finova offices as and when required.  

You have:  

  •  Delivered complex software projects end-to-end, ideally into the financial services sector (any mortgage experience/knowledge is highly desirable) 
  •  High level understanding of key technology and processes (e.g. SaaS / enterprise / hosted solutions) to support planning, delivery challenges and communications with the team and client  
  •  You are able to build good client relationships, show gravitas (needs to be opinionated when needed); able to set expectations   
  •  Good presentation skills (present progress, or solution to challenges in the best way)    
  •  Capable of governing multiple projects to a high standard or delivering independently complex projects   
  •  Experience of working with clients of different sizes and delivery maturity, and knowledge of how this may impact project planning and risks   
  •  Understanding of Waterfall & Agile practices, in particular, an ability to create a burndown and track it; 

What will you be doing: 

  •  Reporting into the Portfolio Manager you will partner with our clients to take them through the delivery lifecycle    
  •  Manage demanding / challenging / commercially sensitive projects and/or multiple projects at any one point in time  
  •  Working with our clients to establish an agreed way of working and ‘one-team’ mind-set   
  •  Working and leading cross-functional teams to develop delivery plans, costs, and estimates     
  •  Setting up project governance and ensuring project delivery excellence    
  •  Setting priorities, onboarding, and coordinating the team to deliver to plan and budget and build delivery confidence    
  •  Managing key stakeholders, reporting project status and progress as well as supporting accurate invoicing    
  •  Alongside your client-facing role, you will play an active role in developing our business. To deliver the best products and services to our clients, we need to continually refine and improve our delivery processes, training, and knowledge using the latest industry tools and techniques
