Manage complex technology projects and initiatives from initiation through acceptance, supporting infrastructure modernization and operational improvement. Responsibilities include project planning, change management, resource forecasting, stakeholder coordination, risk management, project accounting, and status reporting. The role works with IT teams, suppliers, leadership, and business stakeholders while applying traditional and agile project management methods.
We are hiring a Project Manager to join our Technical Production team. You will lead projects and initiatives that deliver technology solutions in support of the Group’s and departments strategic objectives.
Working with technology teams, third-party suppliers, IT leaders and business stakeholders, you will coordinate delivery from planning through to acceptance. You will help improve the way our technology services work, keeping projects on track and focused on managing risk, supporting reliable services and achieving meaningful business outcomes.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with IT Production Heads, team managers, other Project Managers and stakeholders to plan and deliver projects aligned with company and department strategies.
- Own project plans and coordinate delivery, making sure changes are managed effectively.
- Track resource use and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and bring the right people together to support successful delivery.
- Provide clear, timely project updates and maintain accurate project, financial and resource information.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation through to acceptance.
- Experience working in an IT or technology environment.
- Understanding of traditional and agile project management approaches.
- Experience with Atlassian tools.
- Confidence communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative, manage your own workload and keep work moving.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve issues.
