Senior Project Manager (Travel Industry)

Summary


Amadeus is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex international projects within the travel technology and airport ecosystem. In this role, you will manage end-to-end project delivery, working closely with customers, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution. You will combine strong project leadership with customer engagement, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced international environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously;
  • Manage project delivery using established project management standards and methodologies;
  • Create and maintain project plans, manage scope, risks, timelines, and change requests;
  • Coordinate internal teams and ensure delivery quality, budget, and deadlines are met;
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to customers and senior stakeholders;
  • Facilitate governance meetings, including Steering Committees;
  • Support resource planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Ideal Candidate


  • Proven experience managing complex international projects in customer-facing environments;
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business audiences;
  • Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams;
  • Solid technical understanding relevant to digital, travel, or airport-related projects;
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset;
  • Experience in the travel technology or airport industry is strongly valued;
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations when required;
