Dyson’s Global IT - Group Support Functions team has end-to-end accountability for the strategic roadmap, design, delivery and support of business applications enabling Dyson’s global planning, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, aftersales, finance, HR, legal, estates and workplace business processes.

About The Role

This role sits within the Supply Chain Systems Team and will lead complex technology delivery across supply chain and manufacturing capabilities, including planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, fulfilment and related integration points.

Reporting to the Sr Program Manager – Supply Chain Systems, the Senior Project Manager (Supply Chain Systems) will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programmes across Dyson’s supply chain and manufacturing landscape. The role will orchestrate delivery across business teams, product teams, solution architecture, third-party partners and operational service teams to deliver business outcomes safely, predictably and sustainably.

The role will include responsibility for initiatives spanning supply chain planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and fulfilment, including projects that require strong business process understanding, technical delivery discipline, governance, financial control and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex Supply Chain Systems projects and programmes, ensuring clear scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, budgets and benefits are understood and actively managed.
  • Own and maintain robust project plans covering key activities, deliverables, decision points, dependencies, resourcing assumptions and implementation milestones.
  • Drive delivery across supply chain and manufacturing domains, including planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, manufacturing integration and related enterprise platforms.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to shape delivery outcomes, clarify requirements, resolve trade-offs and ensure projects remain aligned to strategic business priorities.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasts, budgets, actuals, resource plans and change impacts, escalating material variances in a timely and structured way.
  • Identify, document, track and mitigate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies across project teams, vendors, product areas and business functions.
  • Establish clear governance and meeting cadence, including project working groups, decision forums, Steering Committee reporting and executive-level communications where required.
  • Coordinate delivery across product managers, business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, service teams and third-party implementation partners.
  • Ensure delivery approaches take into consideration architecture, cyber security, data, compliance, controls, service transition, change management and operational readiness.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors, systems integrators and managed service partners, holding them accountable for delivery quality, transparency, issue resolution and commercial discipline.
  • Support business case development, benefits tracking and value realisation, ensuring projects remain focused on measurable outcomes rather than activity alone.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of project delivery standards, templates, delivery assurance practices and lessons learned across Global IT.
  • Lead through ambiguity and complexity, creating clarity for teams, protecting delivery momentum and maintaining disciplined communication across global stakeholders.
  • Support knowledge transfer, documentation and transition into sustainable support models so delivered solutions can be operated effectively after go-live.

  • Supply Chain: End-to-end supply chain systems delivery, cross-functional process integration, logistics, fulfilment, reverse logistics, inventory and operational performance improvements.
  • Manufacturing: Manufacturing systems and integration projects, including initiatives connected to in-house manufacturing, outsourced manufacturing and manufacturing planning processes.
  • Planning: Integrated planning, supply planning, demand and supply alignment, and planning technology initiatives that connect business teams with platforms and data flows.
  • Procurement: Direct and indirect procurement-related technology changes, procurement process integration and supplier or partner-facing delivery dependencies.
  • Warehousing: Warehouse management, 3PL integration, distribution centre enablement, operational readiness, cutover planning and post-go-live stabilisation.
About You

You will bring strong delivery leadership, structured project management discipline and the ability to operate confidently across senior business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners. You will be comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment and able to create clarity where business processes, technology dependencies and delivery risks are complex.

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional IT projects or programmes within a dynamic global organisation.
  • Experience delivering enterprise systems projects across supply chain, manufacturing, planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics or adjacent operational domains.
  • Strong project management discipline, including planning, dependency management, RAID management, governance, financial control and stakeholder reporting.
  • Experience working with senior business stakeholders and translating business priorities into delivery plans, decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, resource plans and commercial implications with clear attention to governance and transparency.
  • Experience working with systems integrators, software vendors, managed service providers or other third-party delivery partners.
  • Good understanding of enterprise technology delivery across architecture, data, integrations, testing, release management, cyber security and service transition.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear executive updates, Steering Committee materials and decision papers.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities and complex dependencies across multiple teams, regions and time zones.
  • Strong leadership behaviours with the ability to motivate virtual teams, remove blockers, escalate appropriately and maintain focus on business outcomes.

Desirable Experience

  • Project Management qualification such as PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP supply chain, SAP manufacturing, SAP procurement, SAP IBP and / or warehouse management technologies.
  • Experience delivering projects involving 3PLs, contract manufacturers, logistics partners, procurement platforms, planning platforms or supply chain data integrations.
  • Experience supporting business case creation, benefits realisation and continuous improvement of delivery ways of working.
  • Experience operating in a product-oriented technology organisation with close partnership across Product, Architecture, Engineering, Service and Business Analysis teams.
