Job Description

Join SQLI UK, a boutique agency backed by a leading global consultancy, where you’ll work on enterprise-level projects while thriving in a collaborative, agile environment. This is your chance to shape high-impact eCommerce builds, and experience design projects, working alongside technical architects, developers, designers, and quality assurance experts.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead cross-functional teams, drive end-to-end project execution, and champion delivery best practices to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions. Your strategic mindset will ensure projects stay on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals—while fostering innovation and collaboration across disciplines.

What You’ll Do

  • Project Execution: Lead digital initiatives from concept to launch, managing scope, timelines, and resources.

  • Agile Leadership: Champion Agile principles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic bridge between clients, development teams, and leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency.

  • Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks using structured frameworks like risk matrices.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain technical and visual consistency across design, prototype, and build.

  • Resource Management & Budget Oversight: Optimise project resources management and financials, ensuring value-driven delivery within scope.

  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the trusted advisor for clients, addressing concerns with clarity and proactive technical and creative offerings.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, frontend and backend developers, architects, and QA specialists to exceed client expectations.

  • New Business:  Contribute to new business activities including proposal writing and pitches.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing complex digital projects (e.g.  eCommerce, UX, app development) in an agency or enterprise setting.
  • Deep knowledge of project methodologies - Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, Hybrid, and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, tempo, MS Project, etc.).

  • Technical expertise in enterprise eCommerce solutions - e.g. Adobe Commerce/Magento, and Shopify, would be advantageous.

  • Strong communication & stakeholder management skills, balancing business needs with technical execution.

  • Experience in risk management, contingency planning, and exception handling.

  • A collaborative spirit with a hands-on problem-solving approach.

  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a lean, and evolving environment, with the flexibility to respond to shifting business priorities and needs.

Why Join SQLI UK?

  • Work on high-profile enterprise eCommerce projects with a fast-moving, talented team.

  • Benefit from global resources while enjoying an agile, boutique work culture.
