Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager who has experience in the Occupier Fit Out sector to join our expanding team in our office in Central London. You will be responsible for leading and delivering Project Management commissions for high profile clients across various sectors, ensuring that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. You will be part of Turner & Townsend’s occupier fit out team and provide support on major Project Management commissions. You will also contribute to the growth and development of our business by building strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
  • Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues
  • Supporting in setting up effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
  • Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan
  • Advising upon the procurement of resources
  • Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques
  • Managing the change control process
  • Monitoring and advising upon project finances
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and potential clients, and assist in the preparation of bid proposals

Qualifications

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Holder of a construction/property related academic qualification (this could be your degree)
  • Ideally professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying or architecture
  • Experience in delivering CAT B office fit-out projects, preferably in a consultancy environment
  • Delivery experience as day-to-day project lead
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and deliver under pressure
  • A passion for delivering high-quality and innovative solutions for our clients
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development
