This is a 12-month maternity cover opportunity, offering the chance to support a high-performing Client Services pod within a fast-paced, client-focused eDiscovery environment. The role provides valuable exposure to complex client engagements, strategic project delivery, and team management within a global organisation. While the position is initially fixed term, there may be opportunities for extension or consideration for future permanent roles, subject to business needs and organisational growth.
The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role within the Client Services team and reports to the Director of Client Services. Acting as the lead delivery contact for a portfolio of clients and matters, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of eDiscovery projects, maintaining the highest standards of client service, and driving consistent delivery excellence across the team.
The Senior Project Manager serves as a trusted advisor to clients and team mates; providing expert guidance on eDiscovery workflows, best practices, and technology solutions. As a technical subject matter expert, they work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design efficient, defensible, and cost-effective approaches that leverage Lighthouse's technology, expertise, and proven methodologies.
Working alongside Project Managers and other Client Services colleagues, the Senior Project Manager provides day-to-day support across active matters. They act as a key escalation point for clients and internal teams, helping to resolve complex issues, manage project risks, and ensure successful outcomes within demanding timelines and evolving requirements.
The team is focused on delivering an exceptional client experience through outstanding responsiveness, a consultative service approach, and the effective adoption of Lighthouse technologies, workflows, and best practices. The Senior Project Manager plays an important role in encouraging collaboration, sharing knowledge, and supporting the continued development of technical and delivery excellence within the team.
The ideal candidate will bring experience within the eDiscovery, litigation support, legal technology, or information governance industry, together with a strong track record of managing complex projects and building trusted client relationships. They will possess deep technical expertise, good stakeholder management skills, and a proven ability to lead project teams through challenging and high-profile engagements.
As this role provides maternity cover for a senior member of the team, the successful candidate will be comfortable stepping into an established client portfolio and team structure, quickly building credibility with colleagues and clients alike. They will maintain continuity of service, provide confident leadership across active matters, and serve as a reliable point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders throughout the cover period. Combining technical expertise, commercial awareness, and a client-centric mindset, they will be well positioned to make an immediate impact while contributing to the continued success of the business.
What will this person do?
- Manage large and complex matters of various types (e.g. disputes, regulatory, employment).
- Respond to client requests and provide consultation to clients to manage the scope, execution, and overall delivery of eDiscovery solutions.
- Coordinate internal tasks associated with data processing, review, and production.
- Communicate expectations for scope and deadlines to internal and external stakeholders.
- Mentor team members on workflows and eDiscovery best practices.

- Degree in Computer Forensics, Computer Science or other eDiscovery-related discipline preferred; or commensurate experience in eDiscovery.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent eDiscovery skills needed to provide consultation and creation of client and project solutions that drive the use of technology and workflows that reduce overall client costs, improve speed, and/or deliver a higher quality product.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a changing and growing workload.
- Strong communication skills to effectively transmit information via written (email and forms based formats ) and verbal communications to convey instructions, identify issues, propose solutions and manage conflicts between internal and external stakeholders.
- Project management skills to successfully manage client relationships and execute projects to completion in order to deepen Lighthouse relationships to ensure repeat work and increased share of clients’ total spend and to gain clients’ trust as a consultant.
- Degree in Computer Forensics, Computer Science or other eDiscovery-related discipline preferred, or commensurate experience in eDiscovery.
- Relativity experience is required.
- Industry-specific or technology-related certifications preferred (e.g. RCA, Nuix Master, ACEDS)
- 6+ years of work experience with at least four years in an eDiscovery project management role
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table
- Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends)
