The Role

As a Senior Project Associate, Partner Policies & Processes (PPP), you will have end-to-end responsibility for defining Deliveroo’s partner-related policies, partner-facing and internal commercial processes, ensuring that they are being implemented as intended across Deliveroo functions. You will lead Deliveroo’s thinking on how we can ensure our partner-facing policies and processes are delivering a positive experience for partners whilst also being delivered at the lowest possible cost-to-serve for Deliveroo. You will define the relevant end-to-end processes, work with functions across Deliveroo to ensure individual steps are being followed, partner with Product to identify opportunities for automation and lead the “go-to-market” with internal and external stakeholders for all changes and improvements that you make to improve the processes.

Reporting to the Director, Partner Policies & Processes, you will be part of a wider team of process experts with particular functional specialisms, supported by PPP project managers who will be deployed to lead or support particular initiatives, including in your area.

What you’ll be responsible for

  1. Defining our end-to-end process for commercial related processes

    1. Ensure every process is mapped and documented such that we have clarity on responsibilities for each sub-task and the hand-offs between functions/roles as the process proceeds

    2. Define the success metrics that we will monitor to ensure each process is delivering positive partner experience and is being delivered efficiently by Deliveroo

    3. Maintain up-to-date partner-facing documentation and communication that helps partners understand how each of our processes and sign-up policies operates (where relevant)

  2. Driving the performance of all partner-facing and internal commercial processes

    1. Monitor performance of the success metrics of each partner-facing and internal process to ensure we are compliant with our policies and processes are operating as intended

    2. Identify opportunities for improvement based on deep-dive analysis

    3. Develop a process improvement roadmap for each process or functional area, supported by clear business cases that demonstrate the return on investment of improvement initiatives.

  3. Supporting Product with automation of partner-facing processes

    1. Identify opportunities for automation with the process(es) to reduce cost-to-serve and/or enhance partner experience

    2. Support Product teams with the definition of requirements and the supporting financial business case (including facilitating engagement with frontline teams and/or partners as appropriate)

    3. Lead UAT, utilising frontline commercial personnel as needed through the testing process

    4. Facilitate frontline user / partner feedback on product enhancements following launch

  4. Leading go-to-market for any partner-facing policy or process change

    1. Project manage each change in line with the stages and timelines defined in our go-to-market playbook

    2. Collaborate with the the GTM Content team to ensure all partner and frontline employee communication is fit-for-purpose

    3. Collaborate with the Commercial Incentives, Learning & Development team to ensure any required frontline commercial training is fit-for-purpose

    4. Lead the change management with frontline commercial teams, supported by Training Managers and line managers as appropriate

    5. Review post-launch performance; identifying and acting upon any course correction or improvements in a timely manner

  • Business acumen: Strong ability to apply knowledge of business levers to drive positive outcomes for stakeholders. Consistently applies good business judgement in varying contexts

  • Change Management: utilises a range of proven techniques to manage a diverse team through a series of change such that they consistently adopt new ways of working and the tools that support them

  • Communication & Influence: Builds trust and influence through structured, data-driven communication. Makes even the most complex information clear. Collaborates effectively across a wide range of teams and stakeholder groups. Demonstrates a confident presentation style and communicates effectively upwards and downwards.

  • Team Development: A team player who readily collaborates cross-functionally and can resolve areas of misalignment or conflict between teams. Provides regular, constructive feedback to teammates to support team growth and talent retention. Effectively manages difficult interpersonal situations within the team.

  • Community-Building: Actively participates in activities that strengthen Deliveroo (e.g. onboarding, training, mentoring, diversity and inclusion). Encourages team participation. Plays a growing role in attracting and hiring talent.
