Senior Programme / Project Manager - Gaming & AI (EdTech & Digital Learning)

We are seeking a Senior Programme / Project Manager to lead two high-impact, AI-enabled digital learning initiatives with global reach:

1. Enterprise Challenge Game (ECG) – the re-development of a flagship, interactive entrepreneurship simulation, rebuilt for modern, multi-platform learning environments.
2. AI-Enabled WhatsApp Learning Platform – an adaptive, chatbot-driven learning solution leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to personalise youth learning journeys at scale.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced professional who can bridge product, technology, education, and consulting, managing complex, multi-country programmes and multidisciplinary teams to deliver meaningful digital innovation.

• 10+ years of experience in programme and project management, preferably within gaming, edtech, digital learning, AI-enabled products, or social innovation.
• Mandatory experience in the Gaming Industry, including hands-on delivery across the game development lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end digital product builds, including games, mobile/web applications, and AI/chatbot platforms.
• Strong command of Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery governance.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-country, multi-partner programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and vendor management skills.
• Proven experience in risk management, dependency tracking, delivery reporting, and programme governance.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally to support UAT execution, pilots, and MVP scale-up.
• Strong leadership and facilitation capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Multiple years of experience setting up, leading, and successfully delivering initiatives within a Management Consulting firm (Tier-1 or equivalent preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe PO/PM) strongly preferred.

Desirable Experience

• Experience delivering educational games, AI chatbots, or LLM-based solutions.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design, localisation, and accessibility best practices.
• Familiarity with data integration, analytics, and impact measurement/reporting.
• Prior experience working with NGOs, international development organisations, or social enterprises.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Programme Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end planning, design, development, and global rollout of the Enterprise Challenge Game and AI-enabled WhatsApp learning platform.
• Define programme roadmaps, milestones, delivery plans, and success metrics across multiple geographies.
• Drive agile delivery, leading sprints and coordinating cross-functional teams of developers, designers, AI specialists, and content experts.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of coordination between internal teams, consulting stakeholders, delivery partners, and external vendors.
• Engage with educators, mentors, youth participants, and partners to ensure solutions are relevant, inclusive, and context-aware.

Technical & Quality Oversight

• Collaborate with technical architects and engineers to define requirements, oversee testing, and ensure delivery quality.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, accessible, and optimised for low-bandwidth and multi-language environments.
• Manage risk, data protection, responsible AI, and ethical AI compliance throughout the programme lifecycle.

Reporting & Evaluation

• Produce programme dashboards, executive status reports, and governance artefacts.
• Capture learnings, best practices, reusable IP, and impact metrics to inform future phases and scale-up.
• Support benefits tracking, impact measurement, and continuous improvement.
