Due to promotion, we are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Programme Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high-value programmes within our Aircraft Control Components business in Tewkesbury. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of strategic programmes, ensuring successful delivery against customer, commercial, and operational objectives. Acting as the primary customer interface, you will align programme execution with organisational strategy while driving excellence across performance, governance, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead the planning, coordination and execution of complex programmes, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule, quality, and budget  
  • Develop and review proposals, quotations, and key deliverables to support business growth  
  • Own programme performance, including financials, contract delivery, risk, and opportunity management  
  • Establish and maintain best practice programme governance, tools, and methodologies  
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance on programme execution, including scope changes, quality assurance and bidding viability  
  • Manage cross-functional alignment, interdependencies, and concurrent project timelines  
  • Deliver clear, consolidated programme reporting to senior leadership and external stakeholders  
  • Build strong customer relationships, ensuring alignment, resolving challenges, and maintaining engagement

Essential Requirements  

  • Proven experience managing large, complex programmes or project portfolios, ideally within aerospace or a similar engineering environment  
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across all levels  
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities  
  • Demonstrated experience in commercial programme management including budgets, contracts, and pricing  
  • Skilled in programme management tools, methodologies, and governance frameworks
