About SumUp

We believe in the everyday hero. Those who have the courage to follow their passion and who have the strength and determination to realise their dreams.

Small business owners are at the heart of all we do, so we're creating powerful, easy-to-use financial solutions to help them run their businesses. With a founder’s mentality and a team-first attitude, our diverse teams across Europe, South America and the United States work together to ensure that small business owners can be successful doing what they love.

Team Description

You’ll join our Sales Enablement function — the engine that drives the performance, scale, and efficiency of our Field Sales organisation across Europe. This team ensures every sales representative is equipped, supported, and ready to deliver results from day one.

We’re looking for a Senior Programme Manager to own the coordination and performance of our sales volume hiring and onboarding funnel from performance marketing to candidate hiring through to first sale readiness. You will be expected to ensure alignment, visibility, and accountability across the full journey through collaboration with all taskforce owners.

You’ll act as the connective tissue between Performance Marketing, People, Training, and Operational teams. You will be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, working to ensure data integrity, process consistency and optimisation between stages, and driving cross-functional initiatives that improve growth and conversion rates along this value stream.

You will be the champion of this value stream across the company, boosting both scale and velocity of our field sales representatives.

 What You’ll Do
  • Own and optimise the full hiring funnel — from performance marketing and talent acquisition to training & onboarding and first-sale readiness — ensuring accountability across all taskforce owners
  • Define success metrics and governance: establish KPIs & SLAs that drive alignment and accountability across stakeholders. Review cadences that make progress transparent and measurable across the entire funnel
  • Map, redesign, and scale the hiring-to-onboarding process by identifying bottlenecks and leading improvement initiatives that shorten ramp-up times and boost conversion rates
  • Integrate systems and data: partner with IT and Analytics teams to unify fragmented reporting and deliver real-time visibility of funnel health
  • Drive alignment and accountability: create the rhythm, cadence, and forums that keep cross-functional stakeholders focused on shared targets and outcomes
You’ll Be Great for This Role If
  • You have program management experience, having led complex, multi-stakeholder programs and are comfortable influencing without direct authority
  • You have worked in a role which combines strategy and operations (sales manager, revenue operations specialist, sales operations, analytics, etc.) and are equally comfortable mapping processes, defining KPIs, and ensuring delivery
  • You have strong analytical acumen and can translate data into performance insights that drive measurable impact
  • You thrive in high-growth, high-velocity environments, bringing calm structure and clarity amid ambiguity
  • You have a mature and confident presence, capable of gaining trust and buy-in from senior leaders across multiple domains
  • You’ve operated in or alongside Talent Acquisition, Revenue Operations, Enablement, or Field Sales environments where outcomes are driven by process integrity and data visibility
