We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead a strategic Data Quality & Transformation Programme for a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf, London.

This is a high-profile role responsible for establishing, shaping and governing a complex data remediation initiative focused on improving the quality, integrity and usability of client reference data across Front Office business areas. The successful candidate will bring structure to a fragmented landscape of data issues, align senior stakeholders across business and technology functions, and deliver a clear roadmap for remediation and sustainable improvement.

The role requires a strong blend of programme leadership, stakeholder management, data expertise and transformation experience within an investment banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and document the current state of client reference data quality issues.

  • Drive adoption of data management best practices across Front Office business areas.

  • Establish programme governance, including RAID management, reporting, steering committees and stakeholder forums.

  • Define programme scope, structure and delivery approach.

  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Front Office, Operations and Technology functions.

  • Drive prioritisation and sequencing of remediation workstreams.

  • Identify opportunities for business process improvement and lead associated change initiatives.

  • Coordinate and manage analyst resources across the programme.

  • Support wider data readiness activities, including AI-related initiatives.

  • Provide regular programme updates and reporting to senior leadership.

Required Experience

  • Extensive programme or project management experience within investment banking or financial services.

  • Strong Front Office experience, ideally across Fixed Income, Credit, Rates or FX.

  • Proven track record delivering data quality, data governance, reference data or data transformation programmes.

  • Experience establishing programme governance and managing delivery across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.

  • Demonstrated success driving business process change within complex organisations.

  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders at Director and Managing Director level.

  • Strong understanding of the relationship between business processes, data and technology.

  • Experience working with data platforms or supporting AI/data readiness initiatives would be advantageous.

This is a Fixed Term Contract located in London. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
