About Wolt

At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe.
Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life.

About the Team

The Technology and Insights team consists of People Technology, People Analytics, People Apps and Corporate IT teams. Through our technology, services and products, we touch every aspect of the employee lifecycle, from core people platforms like Workday and Greenhouse, to custom people products, hardware and software distribution, IT service desk and everything in between. We're a global team supporting our workforce in 30+ countries across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. Our obsession is providing world-class experiences to our users through continuous efficiencies, automation and cutting-edge technology including AI.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role based in Helsinki, Finland, with relocation support available.

We're looking for a Program Manager, Technology & Insights to join our EMEA team, based in Helsinki. This is a senior leadership role within the regional team, reporting to the Senior Manager for Global Technology Strategy & Operations.

In this role, you will own and deliver complex, enterprise-scale technical programmes across our EMEA and global operations. You will operate as a senior leader within the Technology & Insights function, working autonomously across multiple brands (DoorDash, Wolt, Deliveroo) and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes at VP+ level. You will be instrumental in shaping how we scale our technology operations across regions, driving both strategic planning and hands-on delivery.

We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has experience building operational capability from scratch, and is ready to move from advisory into an in-house leadership role with real ownership.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will…

Lead Major Programmes Independently: You will own end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programmes, from integration workstreams to platform transitions . You will operate with significant autonomy, bringing structure to ambiguous problem spaces and driving outcomes without requiring constant oversight.

Operate at Senior Stakeholder Level: You will engage directly with senior leaders across Technology, HR, Finance and Operations. You will build trusted relationships, influence decision-making, and represent the Technology & Insights function in cross-functional forums.

Drive Regional and Cross-Brand Coordination: You will anchor EMEA capability for the team, working across Helsinki and London, and coordinating across US timezones as needed. You will navigate the complexity of operating across multiple brands and entities, ensuring alignment and effective delivery.

Shape Strategy Alongside Execution: You will contribute to strategic planning for the function, identifying opportunities for operational improvement, automation and efficiency. You will balance hands-on programme delivery with thinking ahead on capability building and team development.

Build and Scale Operational Excellence: You will establish governance frameworks, documentation standards and ways of working that enable the team to scale. You will mentor and guide junior team members, contributing to the growth of EMEA capability over time.

We're excited about you because…
  • You have 5+ years of experience in program management, technical operations, or strategy & operations roles, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex programmes.
  • You have experience in a top-tier consultancy or professional services firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Accenture Strategy, Deloitte S&O) and are motivated to transition in-house for greater ownership, stability and impact.
  • You are comfortable operating at senior stakeholder level, with experience influencing and advising VP+ leaders across functions.
  • You have led programmes across multiple entities, regions or business units, and understand the complexity of cross-brand or post-merger environments.
  • You have experience with enterprise technology implementations—ideally within HR, Finance or IT domains (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Jira, Okta, Google Workspace or similar).
  • You are exceptional at bringing structure to ambiguity—scoping problems, building plans, and driving execution in fast-moving environments where the playbook doesn't yet exist.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation, frameworks and executive updates.
  • You are proactive, self-directed and low-ego—comfortable rolling up your sleeves while also thinking strategically about where we need to go.
  • You have experience mentoring or informally leading others, and are excited about contributing to team growth as EMEA capability scales.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working across Nordic and UK markets
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Asana, Smartsheet)
  • Background in post-merger integration or large-scale transformation programmes
  • Previous exposure to AI tooling, automation or operational technology initiatives
About This Opportunity

This role offers the chance to step into a senior position within a global function, with visibility across DoorDash, Wolt and Deliveroo. You will work closely with the Senior Manager based in London, with significant scope to shape the role and build capability. For the right candidate, this is a platform for continued growth as the team and function evolve.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has room at the table and the tools, resources, and opportunity to excel.
