We are recruiting for a Product Strategy Senior Manager to join our Product team! This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong markets knowledge and ability to assess trends and provide competitor insights. Reporting into our Head of Product Strategy, you'll look to identify market gaps, opportunities, and actionable product initiatives to continue to meet client needs - whether that's existing products or identifying new opportunities.  You will act as a bridge between portfolio managers, sales, and clients, analysing competitor landscapes to drive product innovation, positioning, all while ensuring governance and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Investment expertise means nothing if clients don’t experience it. Our business development and client experience teams build trusted relationships across regions, while our marketing, investment, and communications teams showcase what sets us apart – powering our growth.

A bit about the role:

As a Product Strategy Senior Manager, you will work across both public and private market initiatives to develop products that support the future growth of the business. You will play a key role in driving innovation and shaping the 1–3 year product strategy for Aviva Investors, globally, collaborating closely with Investment and Distribution teams to analyse industry trends and opportunities across the broader asset management landscape. Your insights will help inform product roadmaps across Aviva Investors regions and sales channels, while ensuring sales and investment teams remain fully updated on competitor activity and market focus. You will contribute to product positioning reviews, support the development of sales plans, and provide expert guidance on regulatory considerations, vehicle selection and key product characteristics to drive strategic growth. Additionally, you’ll support ongoing reviews of product roadmaps to ensure they remain relevant, competitive, and aligned to business priorities.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a product strategy role preferably across public and private markets.
  • Experience of product structures and structuring - e.g. UCITS funds and private markets structures and characteristics.
  • Regulatory knowledge of global markets such as European, UK and APAC regulatory landscapes, whether from a similar role or other relevant experience.
  • IMC, CAIA or similar qualifications welcomed but not required.

What you’ll get for this role:

Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow – is a promise we make to our colleagues too. And one of the ways we live up to that promise is by investing in you. We have so much to offer when it comes to being an Aviva colleague:

  • Competitive salary (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).

  • Discretionary bonus opportunity - depending on individual performance and Aviva Investors’!

  • Generous pension scheme - Aviva will contribute up to 14%, depending on what you put in.

  • 29 days holiday plus bank holidays, and you can choose to buy or sell up to 5 days!

  • Aviva-funded Private Medical Benefit to help you get expert support when you need it.

  • Make your money go further with up to 40% discount on Aviva products, and other retailer discounts.

  • Up to £1,200 of free Aviva shares per year through our Matching Share Plan and share in the success of Aviva with our Save As You Earn scheme.

  • Brilliantly supportive policies including parental and carer’s leave.

  • Flexible benefits to suit you, including sustainability options such as cycle to work.

  • Make a difference, be part of our Aviva Communities and use your 3 annual volunteering days to help others.

Aviva is for everyone:

We’re inclusive and welcome everyone – we want applications from all backgrounds and experiences. Excited but not sure you tick every box? Even if you don’t, we would still encourage you to apply. We also consider all forms of flexible working, including part time and job shares.
