This program of work is central to WPPs’ continued success, helping augment their world class AI with a back-office workflow platform. The value add is to enable agencies to manage their work end to end within our innovate platform.

This is a greenfield program of work to replace their existing workflow system with bespoke .Net development using a microservice architecture in Azure and Kubernetes.

What you'll be doing:

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in SaaS product development, with a passion for the Media and Advertising sectors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product vision, ensuring our software meets the evolving needs of our clients.

This role will report into the Head of Product.

  • Product Vision & Strategy:
    • Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to align product strategy with business goals.
  • Backlog Management:
    • Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog to ensure timely delivery of features.
    • Write clear and concise user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a user-centric approach.
    • Collaborate with development teams to facilitate understanding and implementation of requirements.
    • Partner with marketing and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including clients and internal teams.
    • Gather and analyze feedback to inform product improvements and updates.
    • Conduct regular presentations and updates on product status and performance.
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
    • Analyze user data and feedback to iterate and enhance the product.

What you'll need:

  • Has had success in delivering a SaaS-based project management solution as a Product Owner
  • Certified Agile Product Owner.
  • Understanding of the Media and Advertising industry.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Aha!).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
