We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who can craft and own the story of how BigCommerce solves real-world problems for B2C or B2B buyers—because we believe the best products deserve the sharpest storytelling. This is a pivotal role for a hustler, strategist, and influencer—someone who knows how to connect the dots across product, sales, and marketing and be a go-to expert inside and outside the company.

What You’ll Do:
  • Champion the internal and external narrative for your product area—creating compelling messaging that drives clarity, confidence, and conversion

  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches and enhancements

  • Serve as the master of your domain—the person people seek out across the org for insight, direction, and messaging guidance

  • Collaborate deeply with Sales, Solution Engineering, Enablement, and Product Management to align on value prop, objections, and win strategies

  • Create field-ready messaging, pitch decks, playbooks, solution briefs, and training materials

  • Guide the full-funnel content strategy in partnership with Campaigns, Demand Gen, and Content Marketing

  • Stay two steps ahead of competitors and market trends with sharp analysis and agile messaging updates

  • Influence across a matrixed organization—building alignment, momentum, and excitement around product direction

  • Get your hands dirty. Build, test, iterate, and scale messaging that works—because you're not afraid to roll up your sleeves

Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in SaaS or commerce, with depth in either B2C or B2B segments

  • A natural storyteller with a knack for simplifying complex concepts and making products unforgettable

  • A trusted partner to sales and solutions teams—you don’t just support GTM, you drive it

  • A go-getter who thrives in fast-paced environments, building trust and alignment across teams and levels

  • Comfortable owning both strategy and execution—from the 30,000-foot pitch to the final bullet point in a sales deck

  • A curious, self-directed expert who people turn to for clarity, messaging, and direction

  • Detail-obsessed but always moving fast—you know how to ship high-quality work on tight timelines

  • Passionate about commerce and the opportunity to build something that really matters

  • Customer Focused - You have a passion for solving real customer needs with technology and talking to them directly as well as through empathetic messaging.

  • Personable - You are seen as positive and energetic, and you exude a strong sense of teamwork by working effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all team members.

  • Proactive - You not only manage assigned tasks/projects on time, you independently deliver ideas, perspectives, and deliverables that improve our competitive positioning and perspective on the market.

  • Ethical - You believe in our mission, share our values and understand that it’s not just about what you get done, but also how you do it.
