We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the iOS seller inventory experience — Depop’s most commercially critical surface, responsible for ~86% of GMV.
Our vision is to make Depop the easiest place to turn items into shoppable inventory, accelerating our mission to make fashion circular. This role sits at the heart of that mission: shaping how the majority of sellers create, manage, and scale their businesses on Depop.
You’ll report to the Director of Product (Supply) and operate as a senior individual contributor, with end-to-end ownership of a high-impact product area. This role carries significant autonomy, influence, and responsibility, and is ideal for a PM who thrives in ambiguity and wants to drive meaningful marketplace impact at scale.
Own a mission-critical, AI-powered product surface
Own the iOS seller inventory experience end-to-end, accountable for outcomes that materially impact GMV, seller success, and marketplace health.
Act as the single-threaded owner for strategy, prioritisation, and execution within the inventory space - setting sellers up for success to turn items in their wardrobe into shoppable inventory.
Lead the application of AI and Gen-AI to meaningfully simplify seller workflows - reducing cognitive load, time-to-list, and friction across the funnel.
Set vision and strategy
Define and evolve a clear, opinionated product vision and strategy for iOS seller inventory, aligned with Inventory and Supply priorities.
Identify where AI-driven assistance, automation, and intelligent defaults can create step-change improvements in ease, speed, and quality.
Design toward habitual usage, ensuring AI experiences feel trusted, predictable, and seamlessly embedded in sellers’ daily workflows.
Decide what to build (and what not to)
Combine deep user research, insights, experimentation, and technical understanding to prioritise the highest-impact opportunities.
Partner with your leadership trio to make trade-offs between innovation and reliability, automation and control, speed and trust - particularly critical in AI-powered experiences.
Partner with your ML lead to clearly articulate the “why” behind AI decisions and direction, including overall strategy around how user experience and AI come together in your product strategy
Drive high-quality, lovable iOS execution
Partner closely with iOS Engineering, Design, and Data to deliver simple, intuitive, native experiences that sellers return to daily.
Set a high bar for AI UX quality: low friction, high relevance, graceful failure states, and clear user agency.
Use experimentation and staged rollouts to validate that AI features are understood, adopted, and habit-forming, not just novel.
Partner with engineering manager to ensure instrumentation and feedback loops are in place to continuously improve model outputs and user experience.
Lead through influence
Align closely with the director of product and senior functional leaders on strategy, priorities, and long-term bets.
Build strong partnerships across Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Operations, and Product Marketing.
Create clarity and momentum for your squad by providing context, direction, and crisp decision-making.
Raise the bar for AI product thinking across the org by modeling strong judgment, ethical consideration, and customer obsession.
What we’re looking for
Proven experience owning and scaling AI-powered mobile product experiences, ideally in a consumer or marketplace context.
Hands-on experience with GenAI (e.g. LLM-powered workflows, AI-assisted creation, recommendations, automation) beyond experimentation — shipped to real users at scale.
Demonstrated ability to design AI experiences that are habitual, easy, seamless, and genuinely lovable, not complex or overwhelming.
Strong understanding of native iOS development and mobile UX patterns.
Excellent product judgment around when to use AI vs. traditional solutions, including considerations of trust, explainability, and user control.
Track record of driving measurable commercial and user outcomes on high-impact product surfaces.
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and making high-stakes decisions with incomplete information.
Influential communicator with strong executive presence.
High ownership and accountability for outcomes, not just output.
Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and data-informed iteration.
