Role Overview

The Personalization & Player Lifecycle product team is on a mission to help players find the right content at the right time by building smart, adaptive, and data-driven experiences. As a Senior Product Manager for the Decision Engine, you’ll be at the heart of shaping the core system that powers intelligent, context-aware decisions across all surfaces.

You will establish the product approach for our personalization decisioning engine, partnering closely with Data Science, Marketing, Engineering, and Commercial collaborators. You’ll drive clarity on what makes for impactful, relevant experiences and evaluate whether to build, buy, or partner on the underlying technology stack. This is a critical role for setting the foundation of how PlayStation engages and communicates millions of players globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the product vision and strategy for our personalization decisioning capability, with a focus on relevance, scalability, and speed to value.
  • Lead the conceptualization, development, and delivery of innovative pricing and personalization features using machine learning and predictive modeling.
  • Drive analysis to decide whether to develop, acquire, or collaborate on key system components, considering technical capabilities, team expertise, and time-to-impact.
  • Partner with Data Science leads to develop and test new recommendation models and logic frameworks that balance player value and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial partners to align on outcomes, target metrics, and key use cases.
  • Translate business needs into actionable requirements, experimentation plans, and product briefs.
  • Lead cross-functional planning cycles and contribute to broader personalization and lifecycle strategy.
  • Champion a test-and-learn approach — drive rapid experimentation, measure outcomes, and continuously refine.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of market trends in personalization, recommender systems, and customer lifecycle engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in a consumer-facing digital environment.
  • Consistent record working on personalization, content discovery, recommender systems, or next-best-action platforms.
  • Experience partnering with Data Science and Engineering teams to deliver machine learning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills — you can synthesize context, present trade-offs, and drive decisions across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong product intuition paired with a comfort navigating technical discussions and experimentation methodologies.
  • Prior experience in gaming, streaming, e-commerce, or similar high-scale B2C platforms is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with build/buy/partner frameworks and platform-level architecture evaluations.
  • Comfort leading roadmap discussions and influencing at both strategic and executional levels.
  • Experience operating in global or multi-market product environments.

Benefits:

  • Discretionary bonus opportunity
  • Hybrid Working (within Flexmodes)
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Dental Scheme
  • 25 days holiday per year
  • On Site Gym
  • Subsidised Café
  • Free soft drinks
