About FX Digital

FX Digital is a London-based Connected TV-first and OTT app technology company. We collaborate with some of the biggest names in streaming to develop their streaming applications across smart TVs, set-top boxes, streaming sticks, and game consoles. We are proud to have worked with clients including Discovery, BritBox, ITV, and ATP Media, delivering exceptional user experiences and high quality streaming products for their users.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This role would suit an experienced Product Manager or Product Owner with experience delivering front end user experiences and applications. Experience working with clients or in a stakeholder facing role is a must as this role requires daily client engagement and an ability to build and nurture strong client relationships. The role blends hands-on delivery with strategic consulting. We help our clients to translate feature ideas into real, shippable outcomes while advising on how to leverage Connected TV to meet their business goals, and identifying the most suitable approach to development for Connected TV.

At FX, our product specialists work as the voice of our clients, working closely with both our clients and our internal project delivery teams to gather and communicate requirements and achieve their vision. Each client-side team is unique, with varying levels of product ownership. In some projects, we follow the client’s lead closely, while in others, we take a more active role in defining requirements and steering the product direction. Adaptability is key to meeting the needs of each project and client team structure.

Experience working with Connected TV or streaming media products is desired, but not mandatory. This position will require you to upskill quickly to learn about the connected TV device landscape, understand the requirements for delivering apps across a range of devices and codebases, and managing the limitations that certain devices pose on certain features and functionality. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of connected TV, working alongside product leaders in the streaming media industry and the passionate and experienced team at FX.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the product delivery on client projects from kick-off to launch.
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders, guiding decision-making with data, industry insight, and deep product expertise.
  • Represent the product function in client meetings, updates, and strategic planning sessions presenting direction, rationale, and recommendations with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate with clients to shape their product vision, define near term priorities and long term goals, define long-term strategy, and build evidence-based roadmaps.
  • Plan and facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather and prioritise requirements such as functional, non-functional, technical, accessibility etc.
  • Work with the FX Project Manager and client stakeholders to define epics and shape delivery plans, define MVPs, and identify risks or dependencies early.
  • Document requirements as clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Apply a deep understanding of CTV and platform requirements (tvOS, Roku, FireTV, Tizen, Android TV, WebOS, etc.) to inform product and delivery decisions.
  • Ensure platform vendor requirements are met, and manage the app submission process.
  • Drive informed conversations around feasibility, effort, risk, and trade-offs; influencing decisions using data, constraints, and business context.
  • Lead agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, 3 amigos, and demos, ensuring clarity, flow, and alignment.
  • Use prioritisation techniques to keep focus on delivering the most valuable work.
  • Continuously and strategically refine the backlog in response to new data, insights, changing business priorities, and technical opportunities.
  • Help clients define product success metrics, connect them to business goals, and ensure analytics and tracking are correctly implemented.
  • Partner with clients to interpret user and performance data and translate insights into product improvements.
  • Proactively conduct competitive benchmarking and industry research, ensuring products reflect current OTT and CTV best practices.
  • Occasionally lead or contribute to user research and interviews, and product strategy work such as customer journey mapping or persona development.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for product improvement, innovation, or account growth, collaborating with FX leadership and the sales team where relevant.

A full role description can be provided should you proceed to interview stage.

  • Can confidently communicate with engineers about APIs, SDKs, platform constraints, analytics tracking events, and architectural considerations.
