About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Tesco’s new media platform — a category-defining product built from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape the product vision, architecture, and roadmap for a stealth-mode platform that will transform how publishers and brand partners connect with audiences.
You’ll be responsible for orchestrating the technical platform architecture, integrating third-party components, and guiding the team from pilot to scale. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead early-stage definition and development of the platform product.
  •  Align internal teams and external partners around a cohesive product vision.
  • Build scalable, modular product architecture aligned with technical and business goals.
  • Integrate third-party technologies (e.g. ad servers, clean room tech) into the platform.
  • Collaborate with strategic platform partners to drive mutual value.
  • Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct market and user research to inform product decisions.
  • Define and communicate product requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor product performance and iterate based on insights.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strategic product leadership and entrepreneurial execution in media, ideally retail media.
  • Proven experience in architecture-heavy product management roles.
  •  Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Experience integrating third-party solutions and managing vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making.
You’ll Thrive If You...
  • Have a start-up and scale-up mentality, with success building from zero-to-one.
  • Can discuss commercial outcomes with business leaders and technical feasibility with engineers.
  • Translate bold strategic ambition into actionable product vision.
  • Champion user needs and deliver real value across the funnel.
  • Operate with a founder’s mindset — proactive, resourceful, and resilient.
  • Influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders behind a shared roadmap.
The Challenges You’ll Tackle
  • Operating in a greenfield space with limited precedent and shifting priorities.
  • Integrating partner ad servers into a broader, evolving platform while identifying and owning strategic IP.
  • Balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution, especially in early stages with limited resources.
