We are in the beta phase of launching a Current Account and looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us to shape and build out the customer experience and features as we move to market launch and scale.

We want to transform the Current Accounts space as we have already done with loans, savings, credit cards and car finance, tying together our Zopa ecosystem, with big ambitions targeting over 1m+ active customers in 3 years' time. This role will be crucial to helping us get there so there's big opportunity for some serious career defining impact.

The Current Account tribe is split over multiplecustomer facing squads, one of which this Senior Product Manager will lead.

This is a highly autonomous and high ownership role, strategising how we design and build on our core CA proposition andmain customer experiences of Current Accounts (think how you apply for an account, view your main dashboard, and make transfers). Critical to this will be ensuring customers are excited by our product and want to use itover the competition.

Of course, you won't be doing this alone. Collaboration is in our Zopa DNA which means you'll be part of a cross-functional squad of talented and passionate engineers and designers working together from concept through to delivery. There’s no room for ivory tower thinking and dishing out requirements - you’ll need to work proactively and collaboratively from the ground up, engaging stakeholders, getting their buy in and most importantly making sure we're building the right things.

This is an opportunity that can give a lot of scope to supercharge your career within a fast-scaling FinTech that is looking to IPO soon. If this challenge excites you, we'd love to hear from you!

A day in the life...

  • Lead a user experience focused team. This team must ensure our customers are excited by our product
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Designer and Design team to create an optimised and differentiated Current Account customer experience
  • Problem solve with the Engineers in your team on how to build solutions, helping them make the right trade-offs to ensure a speedy delivery of value and fast learning
  • Ensure everything built is beautiful, valuable, viable, usable and feasible, with the help of the Engineers and Designers in your team
  • Have an eye on the bigger picture. All roads will lead to your squad, so you’ll need to be involved in the work of Current Account platform and operational teams to make sure you’re all moving together
  • Build close relationships with key stakeholders such as Operations, Compliance, Brand, Legal and Finance to effectively and collaboratively solve problems
  • Work closely with the Current Account Product Lead on over-arching product strategy for current accounts

About you...

  • You have strong experience in customer facing product. Ideally, you have experience at a Fintech, but this isn’t imperative
  • You are passionate about Product. You are excited by the journey we’re on and full of ideas for what’s next
  • You can evidence the successful products you’ve built. If you haven’t created a zero to one product, you’ve really moved the needle on metrics for previous products
  • Customers love your products. You combine quantitative and qualitative evidence to make customer insights central to your decision-making process. You’re clear how your product differentiates and how it fits your target market’s specific needs
  • You're outcomes focused and highly proactive. You take ownership for the product’s success, including where this goes beyond your immediate remit
  • Your decisions are backed by data. You test and learn as you go, consistently progressing towards the end goal rather than waiting for perfection
  • You have experience acting as a leader in cross-functional teams. When you think about who your “team-mates” are, your “go-to” will be Engineers and Designers.
