About Zencoder

Join us at Zencoder, where our mission is to advance human knowledge through innovative AI solutions. We're transforming the landscape of software development by empowering developers with AI coding agents embedded into their workflow that help create high-quality software and accelerate product delivery. By empowering developers to code smarter, faster, and with greater impact we bridge the gap between imagination and implementation, helping organizations ship impactful software products faster.

Our product is an extension for JetBrains and VSCode that assists developers not only in generating code but also in iterative refining and repairing it through embedded AI agents. This approach goes beyond the basic code snippet suggestions. By deeply analyzing developers’ repositories and employing robust software engineering principles, Zencoder's agents enhance code quality and project alignment, freeing developers to concentrate more on innovation and creative problem-solving.

The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Senior Product Manager with a keen mind, good knowledge of DevOps and LLMs, good sense of UX, impeccable customer communications, and superior execution skills. This is a unique opportunity to define a category and build a transformative product that will empower software development teams to boost their productivity and bring their ideas to life faster than ever before. You’ll work in a fast, creative, and intelligent team and bring similar qualities to the table daily. You will also interface with our enterprise prospects, pilots, and customers on a 1:1 basis to ensure that our product delivers maximum value for them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize the company’s growth trajectory by shaping its product strategy: identify and prioritize opportunities, maintain a strong roadmap, and set clear objectives and KPIs. Do the ongoing pre-requisite work: customer discovery, market analysis, competitive intelligence, and creative innovations.
  • Own backlog, sprint planning, and release planning.
  • Ensure a great user experience by managing and directly contributing to UX.
  • Combine customer discovery work with pre and post-sales support for our largest customers. You will be the tip of the spear in our initial customer implementations.
  • Contribute to product marketing.
  • Your meta-KPIs are our market share, value delivered to customers, product NPS, level of innovation, and competitive differentiation.
  • Engage in all technical aspects of the product implementation. Co-own the compute budget.
  • Monitor the performance of the product after launch and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Help us build and scale a high-performing product and engineering team by fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability, coaching key team members, and leading by example.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven track record of building complex software systems in the B2B sector that have been successfully delivered to customers at scale with multiple successful releases.
  • An advantage will be given to candidates with experience in launching and managing products that leverage Large Language Models (LLM). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of integrating LLM technologies into products, demonstrating successful deployment and user engagement.
  • Expert-level knowledge of the DevOps pipelines and SDLC is required. Experience in managing DevOps products (IDEs, CI/CD tools, etc) is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of LLMs (RAG, fine-tuning, prompt engineering) is required. A deep understanding of the underlying concepts is highly desirable.
  • Good sense of UX and UI.
  • You need to be able to articulate the decisions you made as a product manager that significantly and positively shaped the growth trajectory of your organization/product.
  • Customer development and usability studies experience.
  • Experience in pre-sales or post-sales capacity is beneficial.
  • Based in the United States, alternatively, if based in the EU, willingness to frequently travel to the US.
