About Stacks
At Stacks, we’re transforming the way finance teams approach one of their most critical processes: the monthly close. For mid to large enterprises, the close is a painstaking, manual effort that pulls finance teams away from strategic initiatives to focus on repetitive, tedious tasks. We believe this needs to change.
Our vision is bold. With the power of AI, we’re reimagining the monthly close to be as simple as a single click, providing the most accurate, detailed financial insights on day one of each month. By giving finance teams their time back, we enable them to focus on high-impact, strategic work that drives their companies forward.
Our team is a blend of finance, product, and technical experts from top-tier companies like Uber, Plaid, Miro, Mollie, and Bunq, united by the drive to create a game-changing solution. Based in the heart of Amsterdam, our office offers inspiring views over the iconic canals. Backed by leading VCs and executives from Stripe, Plaid, and OpenAI, we’re ready to reshape the future of finance.
About the RoleStacks is looking for a fiercely ambitious, entrepreneurial, and commercially driven Product Manager - Reconcilliations to join our Product team!
In this high-impact role, you’ll own a critical part of our product. If you’re excited by the idea of limitless growth and fast-paced challenges, this is a unique opportunity to accelerate your career as you help shape the future of Stacks.
Own Reconciliations End-to-End: Be the product owner for Stacks' transaction matching and reconciliation engine. You'll drive the roadmap, set priorities, and make the calls, working directly with Controllers, VPs of Finance, and CFOs to understand what great looks like at scale.
Domain Expertise Meets Product Thinking: Leverage your deep knowledge of reconciliation workflows, PSPs, large enterprise close processes, edge cases, and failure modes, to translate complex real-world problems into scalable product solutions on the Stacks platform.
Technical in the Driver's Seat: Partner closely with engineering on architecture, scalability, and correctness. You're not handing off specs, you're in the room, making decisions, and owning outcomes.
Commercially Sharp: Work alongside GTM to tell a differentiated story. You know the product deeply enough to help win deals and demonstrate why Stacks' reconciliation engine is in a different league.
Cross-functional by Default: Be the connective tissue between real-world accounting needs and product. You'll run discovery, define abstractions, and turn messy reconciliation problems into clean, buildable solutions.
Build the Foundation: As an early team member, you'll define what great reconciliation PM looks like at Stacks, playbooks, processes, and the template for the team that grows around you.
3–7 years in reconciliation or fintech product roles: You've owned reconciliation or transaction matching products in a fast-paced environment, ideally at a PSP, payments company, or large enterprise with complex reconciliation at scale.
Reconciliation Domain Knowledge: You understand the mechanics deeply, matching logic, exception handling, edge cases, and data pipelines. Ideally, you've been close enough to the problem to feel the pain yourself.
Technical Credibility: You can sit in the room with engineers and hold your own. Architecture decisions, scalability tradeoffs, correctness — you have a point of view, and you know how to argue it.
Commercially Aware: Comfortable engaging with senior finance leaders and technical stakeholders alike. You can listen, challenge assumptions, earn trust — and when needed, help close a deal by telling a compelling product story.
Systems Thinker: You break complex reconciliation problems into clean abstractions. You don't just describe what's broken — you can map the problem, frame the solution, and sequence the work.
Cutting-Edge Technology: Work at the forefront of the Gen AI revolution.
Top-Tier Team: Collaborate with talented colleagues from companies like Uber, Plaid, Miro, and Mollie.
Foundational Role: Become one of the founding pillars of an exciting company, backed by Tier 1 VCs and executives from OpenAI, Stripe, and DeepMind.
