The Senior Product Manager will own product strategy for pre-visit automation, focusing on AI-driven eligibility, benefits interpretation, cost estimation, and patient payment journeys, while collaborating closely with engineering, sales, and customer success teams.
About Collectly
Collectly is a fast-growing healthcare technology company transforming revenue cycle management (RCM) through AI-driven automation. Millions of patients navigate inefficient billing systems every day, while providers face delayed payments, rising administrative burden, and operational complexity.
Collectly applies artificial intelligence to automate workflows, accelerate cash flow, and modernize the patient financial experience; enabling healthcare organizations to operate more efficiently and focus on delivering care.
There could not be a hotter space to play in. Healthcare is a $4.9T industry and is adopting AI technology at 2.2x the rate of the rest of the economy. RCM is at the heart of this transformation as it has a clear and demonstrable ROI to our customers.
The Opportunity
At Collectly, we're rethinking how revenue cycle work gets done in healthcare. Not by adding more tools, but by building systems that do the work end-to-end.
Patients still face confusing billing experiences. Providers still rely on manual workflows to verify benefits, estimate costs, and collect payments. It's slow, expensive, and broken. The people dealing with it every day feel the impact.
We're changing that with AI agents that handle the full patient financial journey: pre-visit eligibility, cost estimation, point-of-service payment, less manual work, and a billing experience that doesn't make patients feel like they're fighting their provider.
Healthcare is moving fast on AI, and revenue cycle is one of the first places where it delivers immediate, measurable results. We're already inside leader provider groups and scaling quickly, with deep integrations across 20+ EHR systems and the compliance requirements of operating in healthcare at this level.
We're a small, high-ownership team. You'll work on real problems with real constraints, stay close to customers, and see your work directly change how healthcare organizations operate.
If you want to help build the automation layer for healthcare, this is the place to do it.
Role Overview:
Pre-visit workflows like eligibility, benefits interpretation, and cost estimation are still largely manual. Teams navigate payer portals, interpret fragmented data, and make judgement calls under time pressure. It's slow, inconsistent, and expensive.
We're changing that.
This role sits at the center of that shift. As the Senior Product Manager, you will own product strategy and execution for pre-visit automation and patient experience, spanning areas like AI-driven eligibility and benefits, cost estimates, and the patient check-in and payment journey.
You'll work on systems that combine LLMs with real-world healthcare data and browser-based automation. This includes building agents that navigate payer portals, extract and interpret benefits information, and translate that into accurate, actionable outputs for both patients and providers.
We move quickly, stay close to customers, and care deeply about building things that work in production. If you're energized by ownership, ambiguity, and solving messy, real-world problems with AI, we'd love to work with you.
Please note: This role is hybrid - candidates located in the San Francisco Bay Area only will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Own product for pre-visit automation and patient experience, from opportunity to launch and iteration.
- Define and drive roadmap across eligibility, benefits, cost estimation, and check-in and payments.
- Work closely with engineering to build systems with LLMs, real-time data, and browser-based agents.
- Build and improve agent workflows that navigate payer portals and translate data into usable outputs.
- Improve automation rate, accuracy, and overall user experience across workflows.
- Stay close to customers to understand workflows, edge cases, and gaps.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing on roadmap, GTM, and customer impact.
- Make fast, high-quality decisions and take ownership from idea to outcome.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS environment (or founder experience).
- Experience owning products end-to-end, from early development through scaling.
- Ability to work closely with engineers on technical systems, going deep on details and influencing architecture and design decisions.
- Experience building or working with AI/LLM-powered products, or strong intuition for how to apply them.
- Strong product judgement with the ability to balance user needs, domain complexity, and system constratints.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity, make decisions quickly, and drive outcomes.
- Track record of improving real-world workflows or operational systems, not just shipping features.
- Located in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Background in healthcare, revenue cycle management, or other complex vertical SaaS domains.
- Built products that work with external systems (integrations, portals, APIs).
- Experience with workflow automation or operational tooling.
- Comfortable partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, and GTM teams.
- Experience building or scaling agent-based or automation-driven systems.
