As we scale, we're forming a new team dedicated to maximizing the potential of new signups and driving key monetization and data-focused initiatives. We’re looking for a dynamic Product Manager – Growth to lead these efforts.

About the Role

In this role, you will own Typeform’s Product-Led Growth strategy across onboarding, activation, and retention, driving product improvements through data-driven experimentation and cross-functional collaboration. Your mission is to deliver exceptional value to our users by optimizing their journey from trial to active customer, identifying opportunities to unlock growth at every step.

You’ll work closely with various teams to shape strategies, design experiments, and launch impactful initiatives that increase customer engagement, retention, and monetization. You will be responsible for integrating PLG principles into our product, driving results by identifying growth levers and crafting seamless user experiences that lead to higher conversions and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive PLG Initiatives:
    • Partner with the Data Team to design and execute experiments that test assumptions, analyze results, and validate opportunities to improve the user journey.
    • Collaborate with the Product Education, Community, and Customer Marketing Teams to streamline new user communications, fostering engagement and activation.
    • Partner with Plans and Pricing Teams to explore growth levers, optimize features, set limits, and experiment with pricing strategies, ensuring our packages meet user needs while driving revenue.
    • Lead the evolution of Typeform’s trial experience and workflows, enabling users to extract maximum value and convert to paying customers.
  • Optimize Customer Experience:
    • Work with the Research Team to gain insights into user behavior, customer needs, and pain points, driving improvements to our onboarding, usage, and retention strategies.
    • Leverage usage data and customer feedback to move capabilities across packages, refine trial motions, and adjust pricing and feature limits based on user value and engagement.
    • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success Teams to align on cross-functional growth initiatives that support product improvements and customer value maximization.
  • Experimentation and Iteration:
    • Define and execute data-driven experiments that test hypotheses on product usage, feature adoption, and pricing, iterating on ideas to drive continuous improvement.
    • Run A/B tests on trial flows, pricing models, and activation levers, and track the impact on growth metrics like LTV, churn, and ARR.
    • Develop and maintain a growth roadmap with clear milestones and KPIs that align with company-wide goals and key performance indicators.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Experience in PLG:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments where Product-Led Growth is a core strategy.
    • A deep understanding of freemium models, trial experiences, onboarding flows, and monetization strategies.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • You have a strong analytical mindset and are comfortable defining experiments, analyzing data, and drawing insights to support your decisions.
    • You’ve previously worked with analytics tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Experience working closely with engineering, design, data science, product marketing, and customer success teams to drive impactful product changes.
    • You’re a natural collaborator who can align cross-functional stakeholders toward a shared vision and execution.
  • User-Centric Mindset:
    • You always keep the user at the center of decision-making, using qualitative and quantitative insights to prioritize features and solutions that add the most value.
  • Growth Mindset:
    • Ability to test, fail fast, and iterate rapidly in an experimental environment, staying focused on continuous improvement and high-impact results.
  • Excellent Communication Skills:
    • You can translate complex data and product concepts into clear, actionable strategies for technical and non-technical teams
