The Product team is responsible for overseeing each of the digital platform products, with the primary goal of creating transformational experiences for gamers on a global scale. Their role involves strategizing and leading efforts to enhance the user experience and engagement across these products.

The purpose of the Senior Product Manager for Lobby is to help define and build the roadmap and user experience for our Lobby, Teams, and Lobby Finder features across FACEIT. They will work cross-functionally with design, engineering, and product marketing to build a best-in-class “grouping together” experience for our players allowing them to find like-minded teammates, forge friendships, and compete as a team more often and consistently.

What you will do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, both existing and potential.
  • Conduct both quantitative and qualitative user research to understand user needs, pain points, and preferences.
  • Lead in defining the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and supporting metrics required to deliver new features and experiences for Teams, Lobby, and Lobby Finder and closely align them with our Club features and wider “Community Platform” roadmap.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and product marketing to build experiences that delight users, including writing requirements, participating in team rituals and the like.
  • Drive projects, product, and feature launches within the team and with other teams across the Digital Platform.
  • Utilise data analytics to prioritize features, measure success, and iterate on product improvements.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Requirements
  • In-depth product management experience, preferably in a technology or gaming environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience in conducting both quantitative and qualitative user research and discovery.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and development, with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Experience prioritizing features effectively based on user insights, business context, and data.
  • A passion for gaming and esports.
