About the Team and the Role:

At Smartly, we empower our clients with cutting-edge solutions for digital advertising across various social media channels. As part of our Social Media Channels team, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing how businesses strategize, execute, and optimize their paid social media advertising efforts through our Smartly Advertising Platform. Your contributions will directly impact our client's ability to save time and maximize returns on their advertising investments by providing a seamless cross-channel experience.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will spearhead the development and success of two Advertising Platforms: An existing advertising platform where we continue building more capabilities, and another, which is a completely new, greenfield platform for us. 

Your role involves shaping the vision and execution of digital advertising capabilities on these platforms, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and Smartly’s overarching goals. Also, a big part of the success is the alignment of these two advertising platforms since we don’t want to build everything twice. You will also collaborate closely with engineering, partnerships, marketing, and commercial teams, You will drive user adoption and ensure the Platform's continuity and usability within the Smartly Advertising Platform.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Gain deep customer insights to define product priorities and problems to solve
  • Lead product discovery activities, including user research and prototype testing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft product vision and roadmap
  • Own the product backlog and prioritize feature development
  • Develop go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and demand
  • Conduct client workshops and presentations to showcase product capabilities
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment of strategy and execution

What we're looking for:Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of product management experience in B2C and/or B2B SaaS.
  • Experience in a technologically complex domain, such as digital advertising.
  • Experience in launching successful software products and features
  • Ability and willingness to travel to meet platform partners and customers in the US when needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work from our Helsinki office at least three days per week.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a technology or business-related field.
  • Experience creating product roadmaps, driving the product vision, and defining the GTM strategy.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: social media, programmatic advertising, marketing automation, and media measurement.
  • Track record of successfully launching software products and driving user and revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
