We are seeking a Product Manager to join our growing Alternative Investments product team with a primary focus on the Asset Manager experience. This role will shape and own the end-to-end experience that enables asset managers to effectively position their products, access actionable distribution intelligence, navigate governance and approvals, and operate seamlessly across the trade to servicing lifecycle. You will build the capabilities that help managers differentiate their products, reduce operational friction, and drive more efficient growth via the CAIS platform.

This is an individual contributor role working within a broader portfolio of product managers. The Product Manager will partner closely with engineering, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to simplify complex investment workflows and deliver intuitive, scalable discovery experiences that support advisor decision making.

What You’ll Own

This role is focused on supporting the Asset Manager experience, including but not limited to:

  • Build the “digital shelf” for asset managers—how products show up, stay current, and differentiate in the CAIS marketplace.
  • Deliver distribution intelligence—advisor engagement and pipeline signals that help managers focus coverage and grow flows.
  • Partner to evolve the trade-to-servicing experience—order transparency, exception resolution, and post-trade deliverables that reduce friction for managers and advisors.
  • Set the foundation and the next curve—access/approval governance and clean fund data now, scaling into AI-driven insight and triage as the platform matures.

While this role is centered on Asset Managers, it will collaborate closely with adjacent product areas to ensure a cohesive, platform wide experience. As priorities evolve, the scope of this role may also shift, requiring the individual to take ownership of additional or different areas in support of broader business needs

Responsibilities

Discovery & Strategy

  • Partner with Design to gather quantitative and qualitative insights through user interviews, usability testing, market research, and analytics.
  • Translate discovery insights into clearly articulated problem statements, opportunity sizing, and solution hypotheses.
  • Define and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for fund discovery experiences, aligned to firm-level objectives.
  • Distill findings into epics and initiatives with defined audiences, goals, success metrics, and alignment to OKRs.
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders and leadership to review priorities, tradeoffs, and strategic direction.

Delivery & Execution

  • Own day-to-day product execution for one or more discovery-focused product areas.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design to drive backlog refinement, delivery planning, standups, and retrospectives.
  • Author high-quality product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure delivery transparency through clear timelines, dependencies, and status communication.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to support launches, internal enablement, and ongoing iteration.
  • Able to articulate and critique interaction design for complex, data-rich workflows; comfortable producing low-fidelity flows/wireframes/prototypes to accelerate alignment.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Relevant product management experience with demonstrable impact.
  • Financial services experience required; alternative investments and/or wealth management strongly preferred.
  • Experience building discovery, research, analytics, or portfolio construction tools strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.

Technical Skills & Product Literacy

  • Fluency with agile product development practices and tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Comfort with early-stage estimation, prioritization frameworks, and data-informed decision making.
  • Proven experience delivering meaningful product enhancements from discovery through launch.
  • Nice to have: Understanding of advisor workflows and decision-making in the context of alternative investments.

Mindset & Collaboration

  • Resourceful self-starter with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Highly collaborative partner with empathy for users and teammates.
  • Clear, concise communicator capable of influencing across disciplines and seniority levels.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity while driving clarity and momentum
