Job Description:
Join a mission-driven team building wearable technology specifically for chronic illness management. Reporting to the founding engineer, you will own features end-to-end across a Flutter mobile app and GCP/TypeScript backend. You’ll help 250,000+ users track energy pacing and reclaim their quality of life while scaling a product that reached $8M ARR in just 24 months.

What you will do:

• Craft pixel-perfect mobile interfaces and complex data visualizations using Flutter to help users understand their physiological data at a glance.

• Architect and maintain robust backend systems using Cloud Functions (TypeScript) and GraphQL to handle personalization, wearable integrations, and HIPAA-ready security.

• Collaborate directly with data scientists and designers to implement smart energy-pacing tools and AI-powered features that translate wearable metrics into actionable health insights.

The ideal candidate:

• Significant experience building and maintaining production-grade consumer mobile applications, ideally using Flutter, or a willingness to transition from expert-level React Native or Native iOS/Android.

• Strong full-stack or T-shaped engineering profile with proficiency in TypeScript, GCP, or similar cloud environments, and an interest in working with BLE/wearable hardware integrations.

• A proactive, product-minded engineer who uses AI tools to multiply their output and cares deeply about accessibility and reliability for users managing chronic conditions.
